Remarks :
The major factor to choose this is that it is close to my home saving hostel and other related costs. Yes, there was a group discussion and personal interview for students based on the result from CAT exam.
Course Curriculum Overview :
After completing my graduation, I wanted to work in corporate sector and to gain a good position, this was a good option for me. The exams are held Half-yearly per semester. As for the difficulty, they are not difficult if you understand the course and subjects.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, I opted for internship after the completion of my semester 2nd during the summer break in J&K Bank. I am majoring in the finance specialisation and it's was a productive experience on my part as I was able to experience the corporate culture.
Placement Experience :
The placement and job opportunities are good as there are multiple job opportunities and placement companies that comes in the campus during the last semester of our course. I have plans to get a good placement if possible after getting the degree in finance sector.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I paid Rs. 61000 for sem 1, Rs. 9000 for sem 2, Rs. 19000 for sem 3 and will pay Rs. 9000 for sem 4. This is the fee structure for general seats , as for the self finance students the total fee is Rs. 3.5 lakhs where I don't know about the structure.
Campus Life :
The life at campus is good and enjoying It has made a huge impact on me coming in contact with people from various backgrounds and cultures. There is a management club which organises various events in the department
Hostel Facilities :
I didn't opted for a hostel. If I opted it should have a complete basic facilities including infractucture, hostel mess, gym and medical Center which Are available in the hostel facilities provided by the university.

Placements in our college are average only, not very high but not zero also. Few companies come every year for campus recruitment, like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and some local construction firms. They mostly offer roles like junior engineer, site supervisor or trainee. Highest package was around 8 LPA for IT profile, average goes between 3-4 LPA. Almost 50-60% students get placed from campus, rest students go for off campus or higher studies. Eligibility for placement is you need minimum 6.5 CGPA and no active backlogs, also they check communication skills in interviews. No big mass recruiters like in IITs, but still some opportunities are there if you prepare well. If not getting placed through campus, I plan to try off campus drives and also thinking to prepare for govt exams or maybe do M.Tech. College do conduct some training sessions and mock interviews but main thing depends on self preparation.

Here almost 95% students got placed.average salary is around 6-7 lpa.Companies like wipro,infuses,bhel visited here.my plan after degree is to do mtech from iits. Highest package is around 45 lakhs (off campus). On campus it is around 25 lpa.

I am always moved by my college’s course curriculum which is multicultural and gives students a wide range of choices. The courses are demanding but the lecturers are always ready to provide support and counsel. It is affordable to all through scholarships and fair fees.
Placement and college life at IIT Jammu
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placement depends on the company, majorly all companies asks for minimum CGPA of 7 or 7.5. Some past major companies which comes for recruitment are amazon, sprinklr, paytm, nvidia, ICICI bank, HDFC bank, maruti suzuki etc. According to 2023 data, highest package offered was 53 LPA, average package offered was 18 LPA, minimum package was 5 LPA. Percentage of students get placed in 2023 is 85%. My plans after getting the degree is to either works on corporate or to prepare for UPSC.

quality of teaching is crucial, instructor give their best in the class and class strength is divides in two section according their enrollment number.i think fees is affordable and fees waiver for different category.
My University Life In The University of Kashmir.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for the placements of jobs was 65% in the grade card if graduation. The recruitment process was followed by a job examination and job interview. Cipla, SKIMS were some of the recruiters that visited the university and offered almost 15 jobs. The average package offered by the recruiters was 40-70 thousands per month. And the highest package offered by the recruiters was 1.1 Lakh per month. In this recruitment process almost 40% students got placements. I got a private job in a private pharmacy company. Now, I have chosen this job as my carrier after getting the degree.

Placement Experience :
There were no job or placement opportunities available and it didn’t bothered the college. The main aim of the students as well included to just pass the degree and get out of there. Faculties also discouraged about the job market scenario outside the college which alleviated the trouble.

Previously there was 100% on campus placement in university but now it's only somewhat 70%. Companies come for placement also they select students but most of time it sells based company not a product based company also they offer quit low packages. Most of students try off Campus Placement where they get some good offers. Average package is about 5-7 lakh
