- The most I like about my college is the faculty and their support. Maximum teachers help us to feel the warmth in college. They support the students in the every way possible.
- The most i like about our campus life is our seniors, they make the college a nice and joy-able place for us.
Dislikes
- I didn’t like the infrastructure, the classrooms are tiny and the chairs are not so good and comfortable to sit and study on.
- The thing i dislike about the college is that they don’t fund any fest or any type of celebration.
Remarks :
This college is near my hometown that’s why I choose it. And also this college is best for BA LLB in the whole Jammu city. I appeared for CUET 2024 to get admission in this college. It is compulsory to appear in CUET to get admission in this college and qualify the cut off. I appeared for CUET including the subjects like Legal studies, general test and English. Only these 3 subjects are required to appear in CUET to get admission in this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because I want to be a good judge in my coming time. This course would help me reach closer to my reason. The teaching staff is good. Many of them have completed their PhD degree in law, English, and other subjects. Their way of teaching is through the books like the early times. They should include some methods based on technology and some practical way too because we can learn law only after working in this field practically. We have semester vise examinations. 1 semester is of 6 months and then examination to qualify 1 semester is done. Their examination’s difficulty level is decent, it is lengthy, questions are of 10 marks in max.
Internships Opportunities :
No offer of any internship have been offered to the students, instead students themselves have to apply for internship outside the campus. In very rare cases the college provide students to apply for internship through the faculty .
Placement Experience :
We don’t have any opportunity of placements and jobs. Very rarely any corporate law agency offers jobs in our college. The students themselves have to look for their internship and placements. Maximum student’s plan after completing the course is to pursue as an advocate and many student’s have planned to go for the judicial services examination and the rest would like to study further LLM(post graduation).
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
We pay the fees semester vise. The first semester fees that I have payed is 46000 rupees approx. And fees for all the categories are same instead we are provided with scholarships to provide financial aid. The students have to fill the form to apply for the scholarship. Then it is on the basis of their caste and merit basis.
Campus Life :
There is no fest or social life available in this college. The students themselves have to arrange any of the functions to entertain themselves. Sometimes the campus helps the students to arrange the facilities to organise the function. These functions are to celebrate the festivals. Our Law school itself have a great library in which we can find literacy books, Supreme Court cases, legal text books, other subjects books too. And also newspaper and daily magazines are also available in the library. The classroom contain white board, chairs and a podium lecture stand. We have pressure group’s branch in our college named ABVP Law school. We have a sports field inside the university.
Hostel Facilities :
I haven’t opted for hostel, but have experienced 1 day , so its food is decent to have and rooms are also good to have a comfortable stay. We have to fill a form to apply for the hostel and then submit it in the office.

Placement Experience :
Placements in our college are average only, not very high but not zero also. Few companies come every year for campus recruitment, like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and some local construction firms. They mostly offer roles like junior engineer, site supervisor or trainee. Highest package was around 8 LPA for IT profile, average goes between 3-4 LPA. Almost 50-60% students get placed from campus, rest students go for off campus or higher studies. Eligibility for placement is you need minimum 6.5 CGPA and no active backlogs, also they check communication skills in interviews. No big mass recruiters like in IITs, but still some opportunities are there if you prepare well. If not getting placed through campus, I plan to try off campus drives and also thinking to prepare for govt exams or maybe do M.Tech. College do conduct some training sessions and mock interviews but main thing depends on self preparation.

Placement Experience :
Here almost 95% students got placed.average salary is around 6-7 lpa.Companies like wipro,infuses,bhel visited here.my plan after degree is to do mtech from iits. Highest package is around 45 lakhs (off campus). On campus it is around 25 lpa.

I am always moved by my college’s course curriculum which is multicultural and gives students a wide range of choices. The courses are demanding but the lecturers are always ready to provide support and counsel. It is affordable to all through scholarships and fair fees.
Placement and college life at IIT Jammu
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placement depends on the company, majorly all companies asks for minimum CGPA of 7 or 7.5. Some past major companies which comes for recruitment are amazon, sprinklr, paytm, nvidia, ICICI bank, HDFC bank, maruti suzuki etc. According to 2023 data, highest package offered was 53 LPA, average package offered was 18 LPA, minimum package was 5 LPA. Percentage of students get placed in 2023 is 85%. My plans after getting the degree is to either works on corporate or to prepare for UPSC.

quality of teaching is crucial, instructor give their best in the class and class strength is divides in two section according their enrollment number.i think fees is affordable and fees waiver for different category.
My University Life In The University of Kashmir.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for the placements of jobs was 65% in the grade card if graduation. The recruitment process was followed by a job examination and job interview. Cipla, SKIMS were some of the recruiters that visited the university and offered almost 15 jobs. The average package offered by the recruiters was 40-70 thousands per month. And the highest package offered by the recruiters was 1.1 Lakh per month. In this recruitment process almost 40% students got placements. I got a private job in a private pharmacy company. Now, I have chosen this job as my carrier after getting the degree.

Placement Experience :
There were no job or placement opportunities available and it didn’t bothered the college. The main aim of the students as well included to just pass the degree and get out of there. Faculties also discouraged about the job market scenario outside the college which alleviated the trouble.

Previously there was 100% on campus placement in university but now it's only somewhat 70%. Companies come for placement also they select students but most of time it sells based company not a product based company also they offer quit low packages. Most of students try off Campus Placement where they get some good offers. Average package is about 5-7 lakh
