Course Curriculum Overview :
From my councelling according to my rank I got chemical engineering in NIT Srinagar.There are many teachers of one subject but they are also involved in other branches so the ratio of faculty is to student is 1:15 approximately.All the faculties are well qualified
Internships Opportunities :
For internship students have to fight themselves because there are not many companies visit for internship so if you want to do intern than you have to apply for internship form your own.Some students have achieved internship with their own hard work
Placement Experience :
Decent placement is seen here.Students get placed from semester 7 .TCs,Adobe etc companies comes here to give opportunities for students.Highest package of last year from chemical branch is 13 lakh and median is 7.5 lakh.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure involve tution fee of 76000 per semester,20000 mess fee per semester,29000 for hostel fee per semester.It is for those whose father's yearly income is more than 5 lakhs and if income is less than 5 lakh but more than 3 lakh then approx fee will 5 lakh
Campus Life :
The campus of the college is very beautiful and nature likely.There are many clubs like dance club singing club acting club tech club. There are 2 big fests one of them is Range-e-Chinar which is held in November.A big library is here and u can access any book u want with your I'd card.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is very good and clean hygienic hostel.Every day hostel is cleaning.Mess food is good enough for a student.There are veg and nonveg both available u can eat which you want.You can register for mess from the official website of our college.
Interview Experience :
For admission we have to secure good rank in JEE. Rank should be less than 75000. After clearing jee you have to sit in the josaa councelling where six rounds are taken.And no other options are available to take admission

Placement Experience :
Placements in our college are average only, not very high but not zero also. Few companies come every year for campus recruitment, like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and some local construction firms. They mostly offer roles like junior engineer, site supervisor or trainee. Highest package was around 8 LPA for IT profile, average goes between 3-4 LPA. Almost 50-60% students get placed from campus, rest students go for off campus or higher studies. Eligibility for placement is you need minimum 6.5 CGPA and no active backlogs, also they check communication skills in interviews. No big mass recruiters like in IITs, but still some opportunities are there if you prepare well. If not getting placed through campus, I plan to try off campus drives and also thinking to prepare for govt exams or maybe do M.Tech. College do conduct some training sessions and mock interviews but main thing depends on self preparation.

Placement Experience :
Here almost 95% students got placed.average salary is around 6-7 lpa.Companies like wipro,infuses,bhel visited here.my plan after degree is to do mtech from iits. Highest package is around 45 lakhs (off campus). On campus it is around 25 lpa.

I am always moved by my college’s course curriculum which is multicultural and gives students a wide range of choices. The courses are demanding but the lecturers are always ready to provide support and counsel. It is affordable to all through scholarships and fair fees.
Placement and college life at IIT Jammu
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placement depends on the company, majorly all companies asks for minimum CGPA of 7 or 7.5. Some past major companies which comes for recruitment are amazon, sprinklr, paytm, nvidia, ICICI bank, HDFC bank, maruti suzuki etc. According to 2023 data, highest package offered was 53 LPA, average package offered was 18 LPA, minimum package was 5 LPA. Percentage of students get placed in 2023 is 85%. My plans after getting the degree is to either works on corporate or to prepare for UPSC.

quality of teaching is crucial, instructor give their best in the class and class strength is divides in two section according their enrollment number.i think fees is affordable and fees waiver for different category.
My University Life In The University of Kashmir.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for the placements of jobs was 65% in the grade card if graduation. The recruitment process was followed by a job examination and job interview. Cipla, SKIMS were some of the recruiters that visited the university and offered almost 15 jobs. The average package offered by the recruiters was 40-70 thousands per month. And the highest package offered by the recruiters was 1.1 Lakh per month. In this recruitment process almost 40% students got placements. I got a private job in a private pharmacy company. Now, I have chosen this job as my carrier after getting the degree.
Review of SSM college
Placement Experience :
There were no job or placement opportunities available and it didn’t bothered the college. The main aim of the students as well included to just pass the degree and get out of there. Faculties also discouraged about the job market scenario outside the college which alleviated the trouble.

Previously there was 100% on campus placement in university but now it's only somewhat 70%. Companies come for placement also they select students but most of time it sells based company not a product based company also they offer quit low packages. Most of students try off Campus Placement where they get some good offers. Average package is about 5-7 lakh
