- The classrooms of college are well maintained with proper facilities.
- The college allows students to enter or exit hostel during day and night at any time.
Dislikes
- The college has strict rules for girls. They have to enter hostel at 9:00pm
- The college does not allow you to exit college campus after 6:00 pm
Remarks :
First of all the college is situated at very perfect place . you can see dal lake , shankracharya temple and hari fort from clg campus and the beauty of college , you can't express . It has a mix touch of summer , monsoon , autumn and winter. The snowfall in winter make it even more beautiful.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course (CSE) is highly demanding now-a-days and the faculty of this college is highly skilled in field of computer science and Engineering . Also the semester have two exams one is minor of 26 marks and other is major exam of 50 marks. The difficulty of exams varies from easy to moderate.
Internships Opportunities :
No the college doesn't provide any internship opportunity but bases on your interest and availability of programs you can enroll in any field under any company or professor during winter break from dec to feb.
Placement Experience :
The college provide very good placement opportunities for students.The average package of cse is 12LPA and the maximum package for CSE is 39-43 LPA . For students to apply for on campus placement you must have no active backlog and have a CGPA greater than 7 and for some companies it is 7.5.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There are three categories based on annual income . If your annual income is less than 1 lakh your tution fees will be 0 you only have to pay 10000 which is hostel , library exams and other fee. if your income is from 1 to 5 lakhs your fees will be approx 60000 pr semester and for students with more than five lakhs per semester fees will be 90000. For every students the college has scholarships which are based on category and income.
Campus Life :
The campus life is just normal . The campus is not too big it only have a space of 68 acres. But there is no restriction or intime for boys but girls have a intime of 9:00PM . The library timing is from 9:00AM to 00:00Am. The college celebrate many events but two major fests are TECHVAGENZA and RANG-E-CHINAR.
Hostel Facilities :
The college has 8 hostels for boys . During first second and third year the room has 5 students but in last year the college provide single room and 3 person shared room for students depending on their performance and cgpa. The quality of food is satisfying not too good not too bad . but college provide special menu on festivals.

Placement Experience :
Placements in our college are average only, not very high but not zero also. Few companies come every year for campus recruitment, like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and some local construction firms. They mostly offer roles like junior engineer, site supervisor or trainee. Highest package was around 8 LPA for IT profile, average goes between 3-4 LPA. Almost 50-60% students get placed from campus, rest students go for off campus or higher studies. Eligibility for placement is you need minimum 6.5 CGPA and no active backlogs, also they check communication skills in interviews. No big mass recruiters like in IITs, but still some opportunities are there if you prepare well. If not getting placed through campus, I plan to try off campus drives and also thinking to prepare for govt exams or maybe do M.Tech. College do conduct some training sessions and mock interviews but main thing depends on self preparation.

Placement Experience :
Here almost 95% students got placed.average salary is around 6-7 lpa.Companies like wipro,infuses,bhel visited here.my plan after degree is to do mtech from iits. Highest package is around 45 lakhs (off campus). On campus it is around 25 lpa.

I am always moved by my college’s course curriculum which is multicultural and gives students a wide range of choices. The courses are demanding but the lecturers are always ready to provide support and counsel. It is affordable to all through scholarships and fair fees.
Placement and college life at IIT Jammu
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placement depends on the company, majorly all companies asks for minimum CGPA of 7 or 7.5. Some past major companies which comes for recruitment are amazon, sprinklr, paytm, nvidia, ICICI bank, HDFC bank, maruti suzuki etc. According to 2023 data, highest package offered was 53 LPA, average package offered was 18 LPA, minimum package was 5 LPA. Percentage of students get placed in 2023 is 85%. My plans after getting the degree is to either works on corporate or to prepare for UPSC.

quality of teaching is crucial, instructor give their best in the class and class strength is divides in two section according their enrollment number.i think fees is affordable and fees waiver for different category.
My University Life In The University of Kashmir.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for the placements of jobs was 65% in the grade card if graduation. The recruitment process was followed by a job examination and job interview. Cipla, SKIMS were some of the recruiters that visited the university and offered almost 15 jobs. The average package offered by the recruiters was 40-70 thousands per month. And the highest package offered by the recruiters was 1.1 Lakh per month. In this recruitment process almost 40% students got placements. I got a private job in a private pharmacy company. Now, I have chosen this job as my carrier after getting the degree.

Placement Experience :
There were no job or placement opportunities available and it didn’t bothered the college. The main aim of the students as well included to just pass the degree and get out of there. Faculties also discouraged about the job market scenario outside the college which alleviated the trouble.

Previously there was 100% on campus placement in university but now it's only somewhat 70%. Companies come for placement also they select students but most of time it sells based company not a product based company also they offer quit low packages. Most of students try off Campus Placement where they get some good offers. Average package is about 5-7 lakh
