NIT Sinagar from my side
Remarks :
The college is an NIT, so what reason can be there to choose this college. The name itself says everything. Yes i cleared JEE Mains to get admission in this college. My rank was 39500(GEN- J&K). Generally for open state general the percentile required is around 97 in JEE mains. I prepared for the exam from Prayas 2023 batch of Physics Wallah.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose IT because the future is going to be more and more technological, software and AI related. And what branch other than IT or CSE make you closer to AI and software. The faculty are good. Most of the faculty (except extremely old faculties) are PHd. The difficulty level of exams is a 4/5 and exams are conducted 4 times in a year i.e. 2 times in a semester, a mid term and an end term
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The tution fees is around Rs 81500 per semester and the mess fee + hostel fee is around 28000 per semester. For students having annual family income less than 1 lakh the tution fee is 0 and for students having family income from 1 lakh to 5 lakh the tution fee is 1/3rd of the actual fee. However everyone has to pay the same amount of hostel+mess fee. Also for SC and ST students, the tution fee is 0. And yes there are scholarships for students having family income less than 2.5 lakhs.
Campus Life :
The campus life is decent, i won't say good... But decent. There are two annual fests a technical fest TECHVAGANZA (JUNE-JULY) and a cultural fest RANG-E-CHINAR (OCT-NOV). The library is not that big but yes most of the books are available there. Classrooms are equipped with smart boards. Sports facilities are great as there's a cricket ground, football ground, basketball courts, badminton courts, tennis courts, etc.
Hostel Facilities :
The food quality is good but the taste is not that good. Some of the dishes that are tasty but some of them are not. The infrastructure of mess is decent. You can apply for hostel rooms on the eSamarth portal of the college.

Placements in our college are average only, not very high but not zero also. Few companies come every year for campus recruitment, like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and some local construction firms. They mostly offer roles like junior engineer, site supervisor or trainee. Highest package was around 8 LPA for IT profile, average goes between 3-4 LPA. Almost 50-60% students get placed from campus, rest students go for off campus or higher studies. Eligibility for placement is you need minimum 6.5 CGPA and no active backlogs, also they check communication skills in interviews. No big mass recruiters like in IITs, but still some opportunities are there if you prepare well. If not getting placed through campus, I plan to try off campus drives and also thinking to prepare for govt exams or maybe do M.Tech. College do conduct some training sessions and mock interviews but main thing depends on self preparation.

Placement Experience :
Here almost 95% students got placed.average salary is around 6-7 lpa.Companies like wipro,infuses,bhel visited here.my plan after degree is to do mtech from iits. Highest package is around 45 lakhs (off campus). On campus it is around 25 lpa.

I am always moved by my college’s course curriculum which is multicultural and gives students a wide range of choices. The courses are demanding but the lecturers are always ready to provide support and counsel. It is affordable to all through scholarships and fair fees.
Placement and college life at IIT Jammu
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placement depends on the company, majorly all companies asks for minimum CGPA of 7 or 7.5. Some past major companies which comes for recruitment are amazon, sprinklr, paytm, nvidia, ICICI bank, HDFC bank, maruti suzuki etc. According to 2023 data, highest package offered was 53 LPA, average package offered was 18 LPA, minimum package was 5 LPA. Percentage of students get placed in 2023 is 85%. My plans after getting the degree is to either works on corporate or to prepare for UPSC.

quality of teaching is crucial, instructor give their best in the class and class strength is divides in two section according their enrollment number.i think fees is affordable and fees waiver for different category.
My University Life In The University of Kashmir.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for the placements of jobs was 65% in the grade card if graduation. The recruitment process was followed by a job examination and job interview. Cipla, SKIMS were some of the recruiters that visited the university and offered almost 15 jobs. The average package offered by the recruiters was 40-70 thousands per month. And the highest package offered by the recruiters was 1.1 Lakh per month. In this recruitment process almost 40% students got placements. I got a private job in a private pharmacy company. Now, I have chosen this job as my carrier after getting the degree.

Review of SSM college
Placement Experience :
There were no job or placement opportunities available and it didn’t bothered the college. The main aim of the students as well included to just pass the degree and get out of there. Faculties also discouraged about the job market scenario outside the college which alleviated the trouble.

Placement Experience :
Previously there was 100% on campus placement in university but now it's only somewhat 70%. Companies come for placement also they select students but most of time it sells based company not a product based company also they offer quit low packages. Most of students try off Campus Placement where they get some good offers. Average package is about 5-7 lakh
