Placement Experience:

There is no such eligibilty criteria from the institutions side, but there can be from the companies side. It changes with company to company. The placement scenario is very good right now, as 80% of our senior batch is placed till now and some of the companies that have visited are BMW group, Volvo, Icici Bank, Axis Bank, Infosys, Tata Power, Federal Bank, etc. Highest package offered is 27 Lakhs and the average package is around 14.5-15 lakhs, with profiles in mostly Marketing, Operations, Finance, etc. Almost 100% placement rate is there and we are proud of it. With DSE being awarded as the best college in ROI by the Times group just a while back. After getting the degree , I want to go into the corporate world , get experience for a while and then work on my own business idea, which I have been working with some of my UG friends. Overall, the placement is excellent at DSE. Making it one of the best in terms of ROI.

Remarks:

The selection process is very simple, and there is no GDPI or WAT of any sort. The selection process is like this- Based on your 10,12, grad and CAT score your Composite score will be calculated. Then you will be alloted a rank based on your Composite Score. You will be called for your respective counselling depending on the cutoff rank and your reservation quota. And you will be alloted your first preference whatever it be, IB, HRD, BA

Placement Experience:

There are no eligibility criteria by the college but there are some companies that have their eligibility criteria. No of offers made is close to 100, top recruiters were JP Morgan Chase and Co, Morgan Stanley, Deloitte, Infosys, AON, Tata, ICICI Bank, Jio Finance, Mahindra, Hindalco, etc. Students are offered various profiles for HR like Generalist, TA, Consultancy, Operations, Industrial Relations, etc. The highest package offered was 26.7Lac and the average is 14Lac. I am currently interning as an HR Generalist and plan to continue in the same field.

Remarks:

The best part of the college is the ROI, it is one of the best in India. The admission process is quite simple here just we have CAT scores, 10th marks, and 12th marks, there is no GD PI here as well. Therefore, no preparation as such was needed for that.

Placement Experience:

There is no such eligibility criteria except no backlogs and you need to have a passing grade. The companies will look for your CGPA and will select mainly based on that plus an aptitude test, so you need to score good in exams. There is a summer internship session and one final placement session, companies like mastercard, amex, accenture etc come for recruitments. Highest package is from 35-40 lacs and average is around 17-18 lacs. Profiles are mainly data analyst, economic analyst, investment banker, marketing etc. Above 95% students get placements. I plan to work in research and policy field.

Remarks:

One of the best Institutes for MA Economics! Great placement statistics and interactions with reputed professionals. The course work is a bit tough, be ready for a lot of maths, stats and advanced economics. Admission was through CUET PG only. No need of any hard-core prep if you are from economics background, just do your college readings. Apart from that focus on mathematics, econometrics, micro and macro with a bit of Indian economics.
