Remarks :

The selection process is very simple, and there is no GDPI or WAT of any sort. The selection process is like this- Based on your 10,12, grad and CAT score your Composite score will be calculated. Then you will be alloted a rank based on your Composite Score. You will be called for your respective counselling depending on the cutoff rank and your reservation quota. And you will be alloted your first preference whatever it be, IB, HRD, BA

Course Curriculum Overview :

I have completed just the first Semester but have experienced all of it. Course curriculum is exceptional and you will learn a lot about the international business world. The faculty is highly qualified, from London school of economics, FMS DU, JNU, SRCC, etc. definitely you will learn a lot. I chose this course mostly because of financial constraints and also because of the Brand value of DSE and DU. The teaching method of the teachers is very practical, meaning they will give you real life examples for every scenario and also they are absolutely fine in taking doubts and all. The term exams were on time, and to be honest they were not like you have to memorise some stuff and give the exam. The exams were very practical, and you just have to know and understand the concepts and you can write in the exam.

Internships Opportunities :

The internship scenario is also good, with most of the batch getting placed at companies like BMW group, ICICI Bank, Louis Deyfus Company, EY, Jubilant Ingreiva, etc. The average stipend being offered is 80k for two months and the roles are mostly marketing, Operations and finance.

Placement Experience :

There is no such eligibilty criteria from the institutions side, but there can be from the companies side. It changes with company to company. The placement scenario is very good right now, as 80% of our senior batch is placed till now and some of the companies that have visited are BMW group, Volvo, Icici Bank, Axis Bank, Infosys, Tata Power, Federal Bank, etc. Highest package offered is 27 Lakhs and the average package is around 14.5-15 lakhs, with profiles in mostly Marketing, Operations, Finance, etc. Almost 100% placement rate is there and we are proud of it. With DSE being awarded as the best college in ROI by the Times group just a while back. After getting the degree , I want to go into the corporate world , get experience for a while and then work on my own business idea, which I have been working with some of my UG friends. Overall, the placement is excellent at DSE. Making it one of the best in terms of ROI.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I paid 48000 per year, breakup was like this- tution fee was 1000, university student welfare fund was 100, college student welfare fund was 9080, university development fund was 900, university facilities and services charges was 500, college facilities and services charges was 36320, EWS support university fund was 100 making the total as 48000 per year

Campus Life :

Life at the campus is really great. Everybody is familiar with sudama tea stall, or the famous JP tea stall. In our breaks JP or sudama are our hangout spots, gossiping over some hot and amazing kullhad chai. There are many fests that are conducted in DSE, namely SYMPOSIA, ERUDITION, CASE COMPETITION BUSINESS FESTS, Sports Fests, TEDx, Dry Port and Industry Visits, Alumni Dinner, Freshers Party, etc. I can't write about all of them as there is not enough space????. The very famous Ratan Tata Library is in our campus, and it is massive. It is very well organised and the yearly fee is just 1000 rupees. I would urge you to definitely have a look. There is also our e-library which has almost every journal, research paper, books, everything. Classrooms for the time being are not in that good of a shape, since some infrastructure development is going on, but the new amenities which are being build are good, and it will be ready in about 4-5 months. You can go to dsembaib.in, student run.

Gargi Colleg , Delhi university

Placement Experience :

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college

Placement Experience :

Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
