Hostel Facilities:

Have satisfactary food quality Review of Food Quality at the Canteen The food quality at our canteen has been a topic of interest among students and staff. After frequent visits, I’ve gathered some observations that provide a fair assessment of the experience. The variety of dishes offered is notable, catering to a range of tastes and dietary preferences, especially for vegetarians. The inclusion of healthy options like salads and simple, homely meals is appreciated. However, the menu could benefit from adding more seasonal and nutritious options to promote better eating habits. In terms of freshness, the quality is generally satisfactory. However, there have been occasions when the food tasted slightly stale, particularly during later hours. This indicates a need for improved storage and serving practices to maintain consistency throughout the day. Hygiene standards are maintained at an average level, with the staff ensuring cleanliness to a certain extent.

Campus Life:

There are a lot of clubs in our college which help us to get to know like minded people. A lot of fest happen in our college like youth fest . Each and every kind of books are available in our library. Sports and extracurricular activities are also done in the campus. There is a commerce society in our college which is run by students consist of a lot of students having different divisions and subdivisions and also NCC and NSS as well which includes a lot of activities

The honest review on BA

What I Liked

The infrastructure of the college is very good ,it is surrounded by big gardens.
Faculty is very good and knowledgeable .

What I didn’t like

The hygiene is not upto the mark it should be improved
Placements of the college are not upto the mark.

Hostel Facilities:

The hostel is provided by the college itself . It coats around 5000 per year . The rooms ate quite good anc provide a good living experience . The cleaniness and hygiene is satisfactory for the students . Mess is also available with acceptable food .

Campus Life:

The college library is very good with good number of books . The college usually celebrates many festivals like teej , lohri , diwali etc. There are various competitions which occur in the college like quiz competitions , dance and singing . Overall it is a very good experience .

Gcg review

What I Liked

The canteen is very conjusted but food is veryy tasty. Burger was my favorite. Once you go inside canteen you would not want to eat anything but once you have it there is no going back bcoz food is very tasty. But there is too much suffocation.
The seminar hall is very beautiful. More than auditorium we enjoyed functions conducted in seminar hall. We practiced dance for functions in that hall. I have alot of memories there.

What I didn’t like

There is no proper sitting arrangement outside class i.e in gardens for free lectures. Very few benches are there which are always full.
There are alot of strikes that happen in government college. During mu graduation there was teachers strike and for a full month no one was there to take our lectures. If 1st lecture is at 9 then 2nd lecture was at 1:40. It was too much of a headache. 3 hrs we would sit idle. No one cared abt education and at the end the speed of syllabus completion was next level. We couldn't understand anything at all.

Campus Life:

The infrastructure is nice but the rooms are a bit cosy. The only labs are Ac. Sometimes when classes are combined it becomes soo humid. Science department classes are nice. Benches are at steps so the board is visible. I have not opted for a hostel but I have had the food which was quite nice. Multiple tests are conducted here. Teej Fest is worth watching. It's like a completely new place during teej which is celebrated heavenly. Other than that farewells and freshers, sports day, women's day, science day and many other functions are conducted regularly. There are various clubs you can join Luke Science Society, rotary club, Maths Club, Dance Club etc.

All you need to know before choosing GCG!

What I Liked

The behaviour of the teachers with the students is very friendly.
It helps student develop their personality to great extent.

What I didn’t like

The infrastructure is something that bothers me everytime.
The gating criterion after 1:40 pm is the worst.

Campus Life:

Campus is very student friendly. It's not so hard to socialise. There are various clubs to enter in. It depends on what you are interested in. The college is always interested in taking new ideas from students and welcome everybody's suggestion and support them in every way possible. Sports, Gym, Cricket, NCC, NSS holds a very prominent position in our college. Hostel is great and inside the college campus and is quite affordable but the food quality is average. I personally don't live in any PG or Hostel.
