Everything about my College

What I Liked

I like the sports section very much, the grounds are clean and grassy, availability of every sports material. The infrastructure is also very good and standard. Faculties are very helpful and try to explain any topic in the most easiest way. College life is going very well by far, also made a lot of new friends
There are available services every time like ambulance, good quality first-aid, large parking lot for the vehicles, two large auditoriums (one in open and another inside the building).

What I didn’t like

The college infrastructure is not very big enough, there is no cricket ground and only one volleyball court. Few faculties are very strict and rude and not free and friendly enough.
There are so many formalities to depart the college in need. The office staffs are not very interactive and delay the work.

Placement Experience:

The placements and job opportunities are provided by some renowned requiters and many offers are made. Students can register their interest for a job opening through their official email ID The placement cell will share details about the job opening with the student The placement cell will share the student's name and CV with the company. The student is responsible for keeping their resume updated with the placement cell. Some companies that visit the college for recruitment include PWC, Deloitte, Accenture, and IDFC Some top roles offered include accountants, finance management, and consultants. Students need to maintain at least 80% and 60% attendance to get good placements. The Highest salary was offered to a B.Ed. student in 2022 was 9 LPA by ICICI Bank. The average package provided is 4 LPA. Around 50% of graduate students are placed. My plan after getting a degree is to serve the country by providing civil services

Remarks:

The college is very well renowned throughout the state of Tripura and it claims it self one of the best of the state. Good infrastructure, adequate qualified quality faculties, cleanliness, quality education, discipline are some of the factors that attracted me and my parents towards this college. The bad aspect (as for me) are - the department puts a lot of pressure and workload on the students which should be reduced (as far my opinion), the office staffs are not very interactive when required. For the admission procedure, one have to fill the form online and after selection they will be called out for councelling along with parents, where the principal himself converses with the students and their parents. Regular class tests are taken by the departments after completion of a unit to mark the progress of the students and at the end, semester exam is taken by the Tripura University in the end of the semester

Review for college

What I Liked

There is smart lab in every department and good infrastructure like fans and harging points
There are ACs in library room and it's so peaceful there

What I didn’t like

There is two campus for our college in our campus there is no canteen
Once we entered in the campus we can't go out until lunch time without HOD permission

Placement Experience:

The placements of the college is preety much good. Students become eligible for placement from their last semester i.e, 6th. Banks and companies visit for helding placements. ICICI Bank, South Indian Bank, Federal Bank has offered placements with 4LPA to 7LPA

Remarks:

There is no entrance exam for admission just need to talk to principal or vice principal they will take a small interview and you need to pay the admission fee amount and your admission will be done.

What I Liked

The infrastructure is quite modern and the atmosphere is so much soothing and nice
The students can perform several activities of their own choice in the college campus. Everything is so student friendly.

What I didn’t like

The college is quite at a native place and away from the main city.
There is academic stress and the environment us quite serious.

Placement Experience:

The college have a placement cell which helps the students to sit for various interviews. They arrange several companies along with banks and several other public companies exhibit placement process for the students of the college. The recruiters are from several banks and startups. The highest package offer is 5 lakhs per annum. The percentage should be above 60. My plan is to pursue higher education.

Remarks:

The college is highly recommended for its discipline and the high profile faculty members of the college. The college is situated at a good place and is accredited with A+ by NAAC. There aren't such bad aspects of the college everything is quite good. The admission process is completely based on 12th percentage along with some tests taken during admission and have onspot admissions facilities along with group discussion. The student should prepare themselves with a knowledge about the course they are opting for

MY EXPERIENCE OF HOLY CROSS COLLEGE

What I Liked

First of all Faculty which is very good. They are friendly and helpful. They are well trained and have a good understanding of their subject
Our college is famous for its discipline. We have one of the best infrastructure from labs to interactive class to vast library.

What I didn’t like

Campus is so small. We didn’t have big grounds to play. We can’t explore much.
As the college is situated at the outskirts of the city it is a bit difficult to reach.

Placement Experience:

I’m currently pursuing a BA in Political Science from Holycross College. After completing graduation will pursue government exams like UPSC TPSC SSC etc… As I will be a student of political science it will be easy for me to pursue this exam as they have overlapping syllabi.

Remarks:

Good faculty. Good Discipline. Proper infrastructure. Officials are friendly and helpful. We have gone through an interview with our Principal. Which is very easy. For admission, you don’t have to take any written exam generally they consider your 12th and 10th percentage to make the merit list. However, you have to take a written test for scholarship if you want.

Review of our college.

What I Liked

I like there teaching skills. I also like the infrastructure of the college.
Like there environment and also the helping Nature of the teacher.

What I didn’t like

The time period of the class. And the gap between the class are intolerable.
The timing of the whole day from college and the morning session.

Placement Experience:

Placement and jobs are only for BBA students. In college there is no guarantee of placement in other department like BA honours or BA elective. Most of the Student of the honours are further they appear MA or they practiced any kind of government compatitive exam.

Remarks:

I love their teaching style. I love there academic circumstances. I love the whole circumstances. Teachers are very friendly, they will help in any kind of study problems , no cut off marks, exams are little bit tough.
