St.Xavier's best college of Ahmedabad?!!!

What I Liked

Campus is something I like Aldo if you're interested in extracurricular activities then there's some really good scope out there
Teaching is good.Helpful intelligent and fun all together

What I didn’t like

Very very poor management I missed my 2 back log exams because my regular sem exams and back log exams were organized at same time so i couldn't give those exams.Poor timetable for regular exams too
Parking is too small I wish they would make a bigger parking soon cause compared to students and vehicles current parking lot is small

Placement Experience:

Placements usually come from banks such as Axis.As long as I'm knowledgeable that's all I know.They do an interview you just require more than 5.5 cgpa to fulfill requirements.The salary and all I just have a vague idea of it

Internships Opportunities:

For us Industrial Chemistry students 2 internships were compulsory during summer break.I have done internships in Meghmani Pvt Ltd and Zydus Kedila for the two summer breaks I've had.Apparently you have to find internship for yourself college doesn't help us.They just lend us a recommendation letter for finding internships.

Review for St. Xavier's College Ahmedabad (BSc Statistics)

What I Liked

I like the infrastructure and the environment of the college
The faculties are really helpful and they teach inside out of a subject.

What I didn’t like

Not much placement opportunities since this is a bachelors programme.

Placement Experience:

Not much opportunities for placments as this is a bachelors degree. Opt for masters degree after this in this field only for good placemnets. But still few companies come for placements. OPt for masters after this course for good placements.

Internships Opportunities:

I did not opt for any internship. This was a bachelors program so I did not pursue any internships it was purely study based but we did learn programming languages and other helpful stuffs for future placements.

One of The Best Colleges in Gujarat

What I Liked

Basketball Court, Football Ground, Tennis Courts and canteen are my favorite spots around the college. Being a basketball player, i can say that, this is one of the best colleges in gujarat, you could join for sports and studies.
Faculties are very supportive and helping too. They are always ready to solve your doubts. They give practical knowledge.

What I didn’t like

There’s nothing to dislike to be honest. but i could say that, maybe they could improve the quality of canteen foods.

Placement Experience:

My Plans after completing the course Bachelors of Science in Physics, is to pursue Basketball on a professional level. and then go for masters. Being an athlete, this college really supported and pulled out my potential in sports.

Internships Opportunities:

No, i haven’t opted for internship through college. As I wanted to pursue basketball in future, i focused on sports only. But my friends did apply for internships through college, and they were able to get internships in companies like TCS

Going for St Xavier's college

What I Liked

The people of the college are very good there are very less chapri people in the college
Campus life of the college is like no other You won't regret if you are hear to enjoy campus life

What I didn’t like

The infrastructure is a bit old in main building
The quality of food of canteen should be improved

Placement Experience:

To be honest there is a placement cell in the college but it is just used to sell toxa tickets most of the people studying in college are planning for further studies in some tier 1 2 college or are preparing for some compatitive exams

Kaustubh's need for money

What I Liked

The Campus is really beautiful as there is many types of plants and greenery everywhere which is pleasing to look at.
There are total 2 football grounds, 1 cricket field, 1 basketball court, 1 tennis court and a volleyball net to have fun.

What I didn’t like

The college management regarding exam management and schedule isn't very thorough with their work
The computer are very outdated and many of them dont even work properly which makes it difficult during the practical classes.

Placement Experience:

I don't have much idea about this but i do know that there is a placement cell present and companies do come for recruitment in our college. My plans after BCA is to get campus placement then work for 1 or 2 years then do MCA abroad.

Internships Opportunities:

I am still in 2nd semester no internships yet though I did hear that there are internships in the 6th semester where the college helps to find an internship for you. Though I have still yet to experience that :)

Xavier's...all for you

What I Liked

The campus is green and pure it gives very serene vibes
the fests are really exciting. Like youthfest and xartfest

What I didn’t like

The campus is small kind of like a school
There aren't any major extra curricular clubs

Placement Experience:

Placements are not bad but yes my plan is to complete my masters after bachelors because for ba psychology there isn't much scope I have to complete my masters in order to make place for myself because this course is in demand these days

Preety good question

What I Liked

Campus life and infrastructure is prrety good
And also placement is very necessary which was given by college

What I didn’t like

The faculty is too rood they dont give good answer
And also faculty is mugging the code which was not good

Placement Experience:

In our college for bca there is less placement and out of other course lime commerce background course master of business and other having good placement around like 6 lakh per annum which was pretty good

Internships Opportunities:

No i haven't apply for any internship but for sure i will apply in 4 5 month and get good job so that my family and i enjoyed the salary and food and all necessary things so yeeh i want to do internship

The college life of mine

What I Liked

The college is so strict about college rules, that’s good for discipline in students.
The college campus is so good and green.
The events and extra curriculum activities are good here.
Campus life is good, and every one is so supportive, and there is no space for ragging specially.

What I didn’t like

The syllabus is pretty lengthy and complicated according to the others who are perusing same course in different colleges.
They don’t consider faculty review that much.

Placement Experience:

College offers placement opportunities, but there are not good packages because as we all know bachelor students don’t get too much, but last year the highest package in our course was 4.2 lakh annually.

Best college to enjoy and study

What I Liked

I like the greenery and the open environment of the campus students can sit and relax can study play with friends and can refresh themselves
Canteen food - cake pastries, samosas, and other beverages available at affordable price.

What I didn’t like

Office staff take longer time to complete documents and students have to go again and again to check for information
Some facalty partiality in events and preferences among students by teachers.

Placement Experience:

Companies like TCS come to the campus in the final year. Students can take part in their program if they get selected and can start earning with flexible work hours as interns. Conditions of the company and salary are the main on why students decide to take placement it varies.

Internships Opportunities:

Not taken any internship as I opted for higher studies. There were various programs seminars and conferences arranged for students to decide what they want to do after completing this course or how they can enhance their skills.

A personal experience of my college

What I Liked

The study environment and faculties i like the most because they help you every possible time. The benches and other things in the classrooms are well maintained all the time.
I personally like the college canteen and the benches near the football ground.

What I didn’t like

There is no sem break after a sem ends other colleges have sem breaks
The management of the college is slightly dull in my opinion

Placement Experience:

Sem 6 students are eligible for placements. The commerce department has tie-up with T.C.S company. The highest package is 7-8L and lowest is 4-5L. There are 60% chances of students getting placement.

Internships Opportunities:

No, i haven't opted for internship but the T.C.S provides internship opportunity and also helpful courses regarding it. The extra course which T.C.S provides are charged extra. This courses helps to get placement directly in T.C.S
