Established in the year 1920, Gujarat Vidyapith is a public/ government college approved by UGC and accredited by NAAC with grade ‘A’.

The University was founded by Mahatma M.K Gandhi as a wake of the Non-cooperative Movement.

The college is affiliated to Hindi Teacher’s Training College.
