What I Liked

Infrastructure was poor for this college because since it was very old coll6but our government trying to change all facilities
Campus Life also good but hostel timings should change it was like school hostel timing restrictions most of colleges having in and out time was 24/7 gate was open

What I didn’t like

Very strict staff and need to teach in english most of students from other states
Infrastructure was poor and they are trying to change

Placement Experience:

No campus drives will take place on this campus ..but the eligibility criteria is bsc degree so my campus should think about campus placement then so all will know about this college and try to join this college

Remarks:

I came to this college through centac Good aspects: 1. ICAR accredited college and star college after TNAU in Tamil Nādu 2. autonomous college 3. good and well-experienced staff 4. perfect college for the UG programme 5. sufficient space for practices and neat maintenance of laboratories Bad:- 1.very strict staff 2. many subjects for the semester

What I Liked

I like the surrounding environments and the greenish paddy fields which gives a fresh experience
I like the well experienced teaching staffs who teaches us notl only teaching but also guiding us in our future career by providing mentorship

What I didn’t like

First,I dislike the infrastructural facilities of this college and hostel is poor and there is no well developed roads and ways
Second I greatly disappointed with fee structure,for regular(merit)-25k per semester and for management seat-150000/semester

Placement Experience:

There is a wider scope for b.sc agriculture students both in public and private sector as I mentioned earlier.In the last 10 yrs no campus interview is being done but in last year a company conducted a interview and selected students based on group discussion.And the salary package is 15k per month. I have chosen this course for my competitive exam preparation as it contains general sciences,etc Only a few students getting placement after completing this graduation ???? we can get job as a junior research fellowship after acquiring b.sc agriculture and the salary will be surely 15 to 20 k per month

Remarks:

Coming to good aspects, this college located in a village area so there is no pollution and disturbances, Alumnus of this college settled in various fields including civil services,banking, entrepreneurs, scientists, lecturers, etc besides this experienced staffs teaches not only subjects but also providing us mentorship guidance. While coming to bad aspects, the fee structure of this college is huge compared to other colleges in U.T of Puducherry, for management seat they procure 1,50,000 lakhs per semester.And the infrastructure facilities of college as well as hostel is poor Coming to admission process, there is no entrance exam for Ug program except Pg program, the students are allotted purely based on merit(Centac)Out of 120 seats, half of the seats is merit remaining comes under management seat

Honest review

What I Liked

The is quite filled with nature. The atmosphere is good
The campus life is good because of my fellow students.

What I didn’t like

The food is hostel which is worse and cost of food is high.
The campus is located in a remote village so it difficult for accessability.

Placement Experience:

The are no campus placements. Few pesticide companies will recruit as a walk in interview. Most are meant for government exams, competitive exams and UPSC exams.Many wish to do higher studies and thus employability is based on individuals.

Remarks:

It is the only government college in Pondicherry for agriculture, so I chose this college to study. The campus is good for an average college located in a remote village and it is suitable for the course.
