Nift chennai hosts a lot of social activities and have clubs. Id say half of the friendships i made were through the clubs and the social events. Some of the clubs of nift chennai- Cultural club Sports club Literature club Photography club etc.. One of the most famous event is converge, national level design festival. Other events includes fashion show, design exhibitions etc.

Many fest and competitions are conducted throughout the whole year. And the library is well occupied with books and resources with access to WGSN. There are various number of clubs for students to attend and they conduct activities every now and then.

Nift celebrate almost every festival doesn't matter its north or south Indian...here in nift campus people can wear what ever they want and no one here judges...nift support lgbtq people and treat every individual equally...in nift we don't need books to study but we do have huge library for better knowledge...nift has wifi in every corner of the building...nift also provide access to wgsn and vision nxt which is the best forecast platform which helps you to learn lot of things...nift provide body forms, different types of machines mannequin, has ac in every classroom...not only studies nift also arrange different types of sports...nift students have Different types of club like singing dancing theater and many more...nift has there on website called nift cms which gives easy access to students to learn about there course

There are 4 clubs and the overall vibe is great. There's are a lot of different linguistic groups as well but it's upto you how and who you want to interact with. The people are great and there is not a lot of toxicity, everyone minds their own buisness.

Spectrum is the highlight of every Nift campus and ours is no exception. It is a story on its own. Our campus also organizes an inter-department fest around September. I promise this is where all the fun lies because of the sheer amount of competitiveness amongst departments. Everyone including faculties, assistants, and other staff members gets completely immersed in the competition. The resource center is one of my favorite places on the campus with the fashion section being the best. You would get books in almost every category and also all the editions of Promostyl (it's a big-time blessing). Most of the classrooms do have air conditioning( not if you are in the first year sorry) but the real vibes are in the pattern-making classrooms of each department. Now about clubs and sports, we have a cultural club, a music and dance club, and a sports club that hosts various football and cricket competitions. We also have our own reflections magazine for which we release new editions every year.

Our campus is like another home to us. It's like a maze but a maze where u like to get lost. Everyone at NIFT is super interactive, it's like another family away from home. NIFT GIRLS Hostel is the cleanest and most safe place one can opt for in Chennai. The cleanliness is spectacular. Food initially was really bad but now the new mess food is amazing, North to South Indian all flavors in one place. We have a Stationary, Print shop too inside the hostel itself. Double gate security and full-time staff for safety. We have 4 clubs Cultural, SAP, Literary, and ESSE. Join any you'll have fun in all of them. Something special about NIFT Chennai is we have IDF- Interdepartmental Fest every year where all dept competes for one trophy, and we get to know our depts. so well during IDF. Another is Spectrum which is a huge fest where all colleges from Chennai come to NIFT for an amazing fest that is either 2 or 3 days long.
