IHM Bangalore offers courses such as M.Sc in Hospitality Administration, B.Sc in Hospitality & Hotel Administration, Diploma in food production, and Diploma in Bakery and Confectionery.

IHM Bangalore Admission to B.Sc in Hospitality & Hotel Administration, the candidates must pass the 10+2 system of Senior Secondary examination or its equivalent with English as one of the subjects. Candidates must have passed English as a subject of study (core/elective/functional) in the qualifying examination.
IHM Bangalore Admission to the craftsmanship certificate course in food and beverage, the candidates must have cleared class 10th with English as a compulsory subject.
Candidates interested in pursuing a diploma in food production must have cleared class 12 with English as one of its subjects.
Candidates must also clear the NCHM MSc JEE exam to be eligible for admission.

What I Liked

I really like the chef's of our college
I love our kitchen and how even for daily day to day food students are the one who prepare and make food

What I didn’t like

Very small campus of one building with no canteen in college
Lack of infrastructure and new technology as it is a government college

Remarks:

I want to be a chef so I chose hotel management and since I cleared nchmjee I was placed at one of the top 3 hotel management college's in India if you want to enter any ihm you have to give nchm exam and based on your Ranking you are allotted the college

What I Liked

The infrastructure is small but with all facilities.
The faculties and campus life is just great.

What I didn’t like

The infrastructure is small but, having old themes.
There is nothing to dislike about the college.

Remarks:

The college is just fabulous. Among all the Institute of Hotel Management Colleges, it's the 1st and best college for placement of students in different hospitality sectors. We just have to pass NCHMCT JEE examination with a good rank.

A COLLEGE WITH GOOD VIBES

What I Liked

One thing that I like about my college infrastructure is that it's a very beautifully build college and it gives a really great vibe
And also the thing is that faculty is also quite good means they are good on how to speak to the student and how to be a few student they are quite go over there also

What I didn’t like

One thing that I don't like about as in Bangalore is that there hostel facilities are not at all good provide a decent in a hostel but the fees that we have to paid for that is not appropriate and I feel it's quite overpriced
The other thing is not I search for the college but the thing is that in Bengaluru there is a lot of issue with language in Kannada is mostly spoke here and people don't accept us who are outside from Bangalore so that's the only issue another than that nothing

Remarks:

No not actually the only thing was that since childhood I was quite interested in HOSPITALITY as a course I just love it and I always wanted to be a professional chef in a luxury restaurant. And ihm Bangalore was a perfect choice .

Best place for a step into hotel industry

Remarks:

yesh i have given the nchm jee exam you can search it on google the full form is national councelling of hotel management jee uh have too fill the exam form online and then pay the exam fees which is around 300 and then you have to choose a exam centre there uh will be having your exam on computer only mcqs will be there and according too your rank from the exam you will be alloted colleges in different states uh can choose over them any one

Life at IHM-B

What I Liked

Faculty is amazing and college life is super good with people from different places around. You can make a bunch of good friends and make the most of it.
Infrastructure is good, equipped with good kitchen equipment’s for kitchen practical , computers for Front office and bar equipment for food and beverage practical.

Remarks:

One has to go through an entrance exam called NCMH JEE. It is held every year and has basic questions of English, mathematics and reasoning along with some problem solving questions. One can secure a good rank and get desired college through online counselling.

My college my pride

What I Liked

I really like the faculty of our college . The way they guide the students in any aspect is amazing . They are like family .
Second thing would be the activities organised by club which includes the participation of all to make it joyfull

What I didn’t like

Talking about infrastructure which something that dissatisfied me a bit .
Second would be that there is no ground inorder to play any kind of sports during free periods .

Remarks:

Placement records and faculty. No interview just have to clear check exam to get through the admission. The exam is based on logical reasoning, maths questions, general knowledge and English

IHm Bangalore - One of the best if not the best.

What I Liked

What I most liked about the college was its faculty as they are all well experienced and very friendly.
The next thing is never ending opportunities as we have more than 40 campus interviews coming every year and we are easily able to switch the industries.

What I didn’t like

Since the college is in the heart of city it does not have much area to walk around and it does not have it's own ground.
The equipments used to taught the practical is basic and they don't have very modern equipments available.

Remarks:

Usually IHMs are best for studying hotel management course in IndiaI Appeared for the NCHMJEE exam after applying through online.For me the Exam was online and my rank was 2778 all India.I choose Bangalore as my first option and I got it there.
