What I Liked

It has what it needs to have with no extra facilities

What I didn’t like

Being a south indian, eventhough they use english and hindi in their lectures I struggle with the language

Placement Experience:

It's special for its placement Almost every one will be placed from this institute So if you have passed with good score you will be placed in a good property with good package and there if you work is good they will be promoting you according to that so initially you will designated as a trainee or as a basic emloyee in any of the four core departments

Remarks:

Actually I was interested in cooking and was not sure what to do after my 12th grade so I attended a counselling from a educationalist about the opportunities for science students and get to know about NCHM exam through which you will be enrolled in this college As this institute has rank 1 you will be in need of higher ranks to get into this institute

Everything you need to know

What I Liked

Campus was really good with all the facilities.
Hostel was the best part of entire college journey, i met people with whom i am still connected
Fest and festival are the plus points to join
Infrastructure is as perfect as it can be
Faculty are too much supportive and also strict too

What I didn’t like

Nothing i can say was bad or i dislike about college, but the college need to really add more things in the bake shop.

Placement Experience:

College provide 100% placement records, companies like Taj, Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, Radisson, ITC, maintained to come every year, placement usually starts during 5th and 6th semester, companies starts to come in that phase. Mostly brands comes for the management trainees program.

Remarks:

Anyone who is passionate to cook, and serve guest, anyone interested in bar tending, passionate for the hospitallity sector, IHM Pusa is the the place where you must be. And No, there were no GDPI for the admission, we just need to give the entrance exam to get into the institute, also according to what rank you got, the college will be alloted, as IHM pusa is topped rank, we need to get under AIR 200 (general) and it gets more compared to quotas

IHM PUSA and NCHM good exposure place for hospitality

What I Liked

Our Labs for practicals as it's quite well equipped and spacious
Hostel life is good you'll enjoy and have fun.

What I didn’t like

Faculty are not very cooperative and they usually fine you very much during exams for little mistakes
No option for extracurricular activity and also campus is a little small

Placement Experience:

We have both in and out campus placement and they are pretty good. But student has to decide between executive and managerial training. Though only 20 approx out of 200 get selected for management training .

Remarks:

We have to give NCHMCT JEE for entrance then based on your rank you can apply for college and counselling process. As for why I chose this college, it was the number one college in this field and profession and the placement is good.

The good the bad and the in between of my college life

What I Liked

The discipline is well maintained in college and also there is no ragging.
Faculty is well educated and we'll experienced and are very humble and polite.

What I didn’t like

The building is very old and the campus is not that much big as it is number one college
You can't roam here and there for no reason and have to wear uniform if you go to college and even the mess for any reason

Placement Experience:

Placement is start is fifth semester after completing Industrial training of four months in third and fourth semester. 97 percent students get placement from different hotel and companies like Accor Taj oberoi and all. They can go for further higher studies as well like mba msc and all

Remarks:

I was very keen to learn hospitality that's why I joined the course. I gave entrance exam for it which is nchm jee conducted by nchmct Noida there is no group discussion and interview for admission process. You can get rank under 500 and you will admission easily in the college

Ihm pusa in a brief

What I Liked

Not much but there are 2 restaurant one is old one is new
3 kitchens for different purposes like bakery cooking etc

What I didn’t like

Kitchen are not organised, they're dirty, old food is just sitting on the equipments
Most of the faculty doesn't know how to teach

Placement Experience:

Placement are goods but the starting salaries are just very disappointing, you'll get all the 4 atar , 5 star companies coming in the college but at the same time they'll not offer much, but if you gain experience in the field then it's different but at starting the salary is just too low

Remarks:

Placement is good, you'll get all the best companies coming in for campus placement but overall experience like in teaching, co circular activities is just too bad, you cannot learn much here. Infrastructure is also very average

Placement Experience:

Ihm pusa bsc 3rd placement are good Provide us average lpa of 5-6 lpa And highest in Ihm Pusa bsc is 9lpa And lowest in Ihm pusa is 4lpa.so that's why I choose ihm pusa for doing Hotel Management.

Remarks:

Ihm pusa is 1st no. Hotel management college in India Because of its placement opportunities I joined this institute. Faculties are good and their behaviour is also very good Overall I like this institution very much.

IHM PUSA- The best in India

What I Liked

The quality of faculty IHM Pusa had was great
The kind of Placements was also way better than any other IHM

What I didn’t like

The campus has very small playground, not suitable for 800+ students
There was no hostel facility for second year students

Placement Experience:

Everyone is eligible for placements with over 75% attendance. Taj, Hyatt, Oberoi, Marriott, ABFRL, Reliance Retail, Third wave, etc. are some of the prominent recruiters. More than 35 recruiters came and made around 330 offers. 100% placements were achieved with highest package being 8LPA

Remarks:

There is NCHMJEE that needs to be cleared with an AIR below 300 for general category to get into IHM Pusa. It's the No.1 HM institute in India, that's why everyone want to keep Pusa as their first priority. Admission is on the basis of rank, no GDPI is required.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Faculty's qualification is top level. They have good experience in the industry and have same background. Quite supportive. But as in every college, nepotism happens a lot. Students close to them get to participate in everything

A test of NCHMCT is conducted every year by NTA in which we have to score marks and based on that we are alloted IHMs based on our ranks. There are three rounds during the allotments of colleges . After that we get admission

What I Liked

As it is India's number one hotel management college it is best in infrastructure amongst other colleges.
Faculties are well educated and experienced.

What I didn’t like

There is nothing so much to dislike in it.
However it is a very old college. There is a requirement of renovation in the college.

Placement Experience:

As it is India's number one hotel management college it provides 100 percent placement. Yes it is true as of previous records it provides placements to all of the students. Students also prefer MBA OR MSC after graduating.

Remarks:

Since I have opted for this college as it is India's number one hotel management College and I got AIR 177 so I got easily IHM PUSA. There is no any interview to get admission in this college just give NCHM JEE .

MY VIEW ON MY COLLEGE

What I Liked

I like the practical class here they have lot of new equipment for practical classes.
I love the infrastructure of the college

What I didn’t like

They can improve the hostel facility as the hostel getting old they should renovate it

Placement Experience:

The placement is hundred percent here and the top companies recruit students from here and the intership is hundred percent also and the students get opportunity to do the intership from the top companies and foreign too

Remarks:

As I love cooking and want to know about more culinary arts so that's why I joined this institute and yes you have to clear a entrance exam for this known as NCHMCT JEE and you have to be a top rank holder for getting admission in this college
