There is lot of fest happens in an year but after an incident happened and 3 people died at cusat due to a program called dishna there for the auditorium closed after that the programs are very less but there will conduct the programs like arts (sargam) sports(astra) etc in the campus, the campus is provided with a university library that is available for everyone in the University and they was huge and the will be a library for every department so we will get the book that we needed, the sports here happens firstly in department batch wise and then we select people from that and play department wise and the selected people from that will go outside the campus for sports, in the campus is cusat we will get connection with people from and departments not only from our department

Being a part of a large university with many departments there is no end to department fests and other programs. Both the university library and the department library are very resourceful. There is an entire dedicated sports department and sports are given equal weightage. Grace marks are also available. Many clubs and other organisations work within the department and the university. The hostel facilities are fairly good. It is very affordable, ranging from about 320 rupees per month. The mess is student-run.

Multiple Hostel, department, and student union festivities are conducted regularly. The CUSAT Film Festival, SARGAM(arts), Kurukshetra (Sports), and Astra (sports) are some examples. The department has a full-fledged library, one of the best in Kerala and and a good digital library with access to Manupatra and Grammarly softwares. However remote access for Manuatra is not given. Sports activities are regularly conducted at the department, inter-department and University levels. Trials for the University team are conducted, and major sports like football, cricket, chess etc, are sent to the south zone with financial backing from the university. Several clubs like the Film Club, Research Club, Moot Court Committee, MUNSOC, CULAC etc are run by the students and are of great help
