For the admission to cusat school of legal studies or any other programs there is an entrance exam called cat(common admission test). the reason I choose cusat as my college because it is the best that I can afford all others are very expensive for law students for example national law University, the semester fee was very high on nlu comparing to cusat. And also i have other options like government law colleges for cheap, it is also a good option, but the campus was very small comparing to cusat

The CAT entrance exam is a competitive exam that must be taken to get admission to SLS, CUSAT. The number of Seats vacant is minimal, with around 65 seats for all categories. 50% would be reserved for SC/ST/OBC/EWS students. The Exam will be conducted Online with 150 questions, each containing three marks for each correct answer and -1 for incorrect answers. Questions will be asked from GK, Logical Reasoning, English and Legal reasoning. A healthy number of attempts would be more than 100 with at least 85% accuracy. To prepare for the exam, focus on the previous year's CAT and KLEE question papers. Reading Hindu newspapers daily is a must to crack the long passages. It improves reading speed and the English language.

There was an entrance exam. The college is one of the best law colleges in Kerala. Has good faculties. The learning environment is good. I chose this college after hearing so many good reviews about it.
