IISER Mohali Admissions

IISER, Mohali offers the principles of science education & research in BS-MS dual degree, Integrated Ph. D (M. Sc. + Ph. D) and Ph. D research Programs. The eligibility criteria for admission to the IISER Mohali are:

  • For admission in BS-MS program the candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 75% of aggregate in science stream from a recognized board. Candidates can apply for BS-MS admission through the following channels. The first option is KPVY (Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana). The second option is JEE Advanced. The third option is SCB.
  • For taking admission in Integrated Ph.D., candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60% of aggregate in science and related areas from a recognized University and should have qualified JAM/JEST.
  • For applying for Ph.D., candidates must hold a Master’s degree or a B. Tech/M. Tech/MBBS degree with a good academic record and should have qualified GATE/CSIR-NET/UGC.
