Nirma University...A Safe Haven

What I Liked

Campus Life is really good. There are 3 canteens, 3 sports grounds(for different sports) and around 7 institutes...by which u should guess how big it is.
Faculty is really good and helpful. They share notes and all reading material and also are readily available in case of help, if needed.

What I didn’t like

Campus is huge so moving around is a very hectic job. Most institutes have only a 30 mins break.
The canteen food is good but differs from canteen to canteen. If one wants to eat a proper lunch he/she has to walk for 10 mins to the canteen and eat and walk for 10 mins again and go to the institute before it resumes

Placement Experience:

The placement here is good. I wouldn't say really good, but prominent companies come to recruit the students like Zydus, Sun pharma, etc. they claim the placement is 100%...I'm not sure about this as I have not yet experienced it.

Internships Opportunities:

We are not yet given an option to do internship but internship happens during the 3rd and 4th year. There are field visits to make us understand the working of a pharma industry. I have asked multiple seniors who have gone through it. They say they have not been offered internship.
