Opinion on M.Tech Course Curriculum, Academics, and Faculty at MIT Muzaffarpur 1. Course Curriculum The M.Tech curriculum at MIT Muzaffarpur follows the guidelines set by Aryabhatta Knowledge University (AKU), Patna. The syllabus is theoretically strong but lacks practical exposure to advanced tools and software. Courses focus on core technical subjects, but modern trends like AI, ML, and Data Science applications in Geotechnical Engineering are limited. Research opportunities exist, but the availability of advanced lab facilities may be a concern. 2. Academics The academic environment is decent but not highly research-oriented. Limited industry exposure – More tie-ups with companies for internships would improve learning. Many students rely on self-study and online resources to bridge gaps in the curriculum. 3. Faculty Experienced faculty members, but not all are actively involved in research. Teaching quality varies – some professors are highly knowledgeable.

I choose this course because I have a strong interest in technology.... Engineering offers a broad range of career opportunities... The faculty is qualified with many professor having advanced degrees... Their teaching approach focuses mainly on theory and while they are helpful... There's a need for more practical and modern teaching methods..

Basically I'm from leather Technology engineering department and in this sector the job ration is very high because of in whole bihar there is no such courses and the seat is just 15 that's why we get job easily than other branches. And a good thing is that now thos branch was amend and becomes chemical technology engineering branch. This is a very good thing for us.

I have interest and knowledge of working of machines, so I decided to chose Mechanical Engineering as my branch. Faculties were well qualified, they were from IITs, NITs. They all have done their PHDs and selected through BPSC recruitment. Our term exams were on time and difficulty level was moderate as the things come in exam was from the notes and guidance of our faculties that made easier for us to write in the exam and get decent marks. You'll get more knowledge if you try to connect with faculties in positive way.

I chose civil engineering as my course because I always wanted to become a government servant and also its subjects excite me a lot.The faculty are highly qualified and have done masters phD ,some have done mtech from iits and have also joined as lecturer.

The course curriculum is designed by the Bihar engineering University the course is designed under the guidelines of UGC. All the branches have the latest and updated syllabus. The faculties of MIT ARE HIGHLY QUALIFIED MOST OF THEM are RESEARCH SCHOLARS. The classes and labs are very well equipped and the classes and labs are completed as per the syllabus. At MIT, a student can apply for various scholarships and student schemes like the post-matric scholarship and the basic scheme.

The course curriculum is designed by the Bihar Engineering University which follows the guidelines of the UGC. For the academics part all the facilities are highly qualified and research scholars for example the HOD OF mechanical engineering department is a Google research scholar and many other faculties are highly qualified. The classes function properly and as per the timetable, the labs are the best part of understanding engineering and it's the best in Bihar at MIT. There are different scholarships available by the Bihar government and the central government which can be availed by the students like the post-matric scholarship, minority scholarships, and the Bihar Student credit card scheme.

I have chosen B.tech in Civil Engineering. because this Branch is the best in this college, the labs and faculties are the best. Qualification of faculties, Most of them have done M.tech from IIT/NIT. And Few of them have done PhD. The exam happens timely, smoothly & fairly. The fee of M.I.T is quite low, charge only 6000 per semester. College provides scholarships through NSP. and for OBC by Bihar Scholarship.

I chose Information technology because it is the trending course for getting better placements. Its course curriculum is based on the AICTE curriculum. The exam is the same as that of every engineering college. The examination difficulty level is medium. Scholarship is given to the EWS and backward castes who are not sustainable. Faculties are good always supporting the students and always ready to help.
