Hostel fee must be paid along with the other fees for the course. 4. Important Notes Hostels are primarily for outstation students. Since it's a government college, the atmosphere is not as vibrant as private universities, but students build strong peer connections. Nearby city life (Muzaffarpur) offers basic entertainment. . Academic Infrastructure Classrooms & Lecture Halls: Basic classrooms with blackboards and projectors in some halls. Library: Decent collection of books and research papers, but lacks digital resources. Labs: Geotechnical, Structural, and Computer Center: Available but not well-equipped with the latest software for AI/ML research. 2. Hostels & Accommodation Separate hostels for boys and girls with basic facilities. Rooms are not very modern but sufficient for studying and living. Mess food is average, with limited variety. Wi-Fi is available, but speed and reliability vary. 3. Sports & Recreation Sports Grounds: Cricket, football, badminton, and volleyball courts. Gymnasium: Basic gym setup for fitness enthusiasts. Indoor Games: Table tennis, chess, and carrom facilities.
Read Full ReviewThe Campus of this college is Big and best. It provides play playground for games like Cricket, Volleyball, football, and badminton. And Open Gyme. On campus always wifi available for free. And Here tech-fest happening every year in which all engineering colleges of Bihar participate. It operates many clubs or groups like Junoon, cultural clubs etc. There is a total of 7 hostels in M.I.T. for every year of Students separately. And In the hostel, Food is Quite low, which Means not as affordable as the price charged for food.

Ok currently i am in moxie club . But now the club is just for name nothing happens here. Infrastructure was not developed snice 1954 so it looks like very old but here labs are new so you don't miss anything

There are many sports and fest in the college such as Umang, Techfusion which are always happening... MIT also havee groups and clubs such as Moxie for coding, Junoon for arts and dancing and others like Prakriti, MIT higher education...
Read Full ReviewI'm not a hostler because of my home is 1.5 km at distance that's why. But I go to message and I always take lunch from mess. There is a good thing that you don't have to take your lunch from your home . Our friends is very good they always take food for us.

Read Full ReviewYes, I have opted hostel facilities. Hostel mess infrastructure was definitely good of boys and girls hostel and the services provided there was also well and disciplined. To apply for the hostel rooms, you've to fill the Google form shared at the time of admission in MIT.
My life at MIT MUZAFFARPUR campus was amazing and memorable. Friends were so entertaining and helpful in nature. I am really blessed to study my B.Tech. there. In MIT, there are multiple fests organised periodically at college level and at Inter-college level. TechMITi- Annual Tech Fest of MIT which generally held in the month of April-May. UMANG- Annual Sports Meet. Fiesta- Annual Arts & Cultural Meet. These are the inter-college level events which is organised at MIT in which different colleges take participation in the event. There are more than 5000+ books in library from different branches. Amenities in the classroom are: Smart board, Light, Fans, AC, computers, Desk Bench, Table Chair, Window, Gate, Fire extinguishers. Social Group of MIT is Prakriti club which is dedicated to nature of MIT campus and surrounding and it also offers Yoga classes periodically. There are multiple clubs in MIT such as IT working Group, Sports Club, Moxie-Technical Club, Junoon-Arts cultural club.

Here ,In my college social life and campus is very good Approx after every 2 months fests and cultural programs keep taking place. Some of the programs are Junoon,prakriti,DST ,yoga sessions sports festives etc .Junoon and Moxie are the clubs or websites run by themselves.

Read Full ReviewThe campus life is best in MIT as the campus is full of nature and greenery. There are different sports grounds cricket grounds football grounds badminton courts volleyball courts and other indoor sports activities are present. Many clubs in the college are very active and different events happen throughout the year. Junoon the arts and cultural club, Moxie the technical club, the sports club and different working committees. The overall infrastructure of the college is decent. Taking about the hostel for boys hostel are available for all four years and also the mess is decent. The hostel fee is 14700 per year and the mess Fee is around 3500+ per month for boys and girls. The girl's hostel has a limited capacity hence the girl with a higher cgpa is preferred.
