It is a very reputed and a old college with a great allumni network. The infrastructure is newly developed with hostels almost ready. The professor are well qualified and have grip on their subject. The campus is big and green.

I liked the city surat and the fees of the college is very less as compared to colleges of other states. Campus is very big and green and many Rajasthani people live in Gujarat Admission process is pretty simple only 12th class marksheet and other basic documents are needed.

Very big campus with open grounds and greenery which is absent in big colleges like AIIMS delhi or BJMC. The fees of Govt. Medical colleges in Gujarat is very less as compared to fees of other state colleges. My close relatives live in Surat because of which I was more confident and comfortable in going to a far city from my hometown Jaipur. I took help from the Head Counsellor of Allen 'Parijat Mishra' sir. He supervised my college list prior to rounds and he suggested that GMC Surat is a nice college. I would suggest hiring a skilled counselor like him while choosing colleges or making the list. Exam-Neet UG Cut-off varies year to year -Aiq cut off 2022 was around 621 (3rd round) SQ cut-off 2022 Gen - 617 OBC - 589(Second Round) Admission process is simple and the documents required are basic marksheet.

The major factor for me choosing this college wasThe major factor for me choosing this college was being a day scholar. Also, my college has a huge lush green 130 acre campus and is 2nd best medical college in Gujarat after BJMC Ahmedabad. I wrote the national eligibility cum entrance test (NEET 2K22) in 2022 and qualified and cleared the cutoff with 621 marks in 2022. The cutoff in 2022 was 615. The counselling process involved verification .via validation of personal documents for the admission process.

No discussion, interview or test are there for admission. Only documents that sre instructed by NMC and college at there site respectively. I choose the college due to city(Surat) and low fees. The good aspect are heavy patient flow, new college building and big campus. Bad are less friendly environment if you are from north, department internal conflicts and old items.

To get admission into it you have to clear neet ug exam. The environment is good, good faculty, patient exposure is a lot. You have patrticipate in council round to get admission there are 2 round na drop up round

I took admission in this college by observing the patient flow because its excellent in this medical college and also good infrastructure and Its in my city only surat. Since I am localite it's not big deal for stay.

As I was preparing for the NEET exam I Scored 621 out of 720 so I was left to select between Baroda and Surat Medical College and after studying about the infrastructure of the college I selected the surat medical college.

The factor that made me choose this college was that I found Gujarat College was most strict about ragging. Gujarat is also a dry state due to which it is also a peaceful state. Government Medical College is also located in one of the most developed Cities. The fee for the Gujarat college is also lower than in another state.
