Hassan institute of medical science in my POV

What I Liked

Infrastructure is excellent when compared to government colleges.
Patient load Is great so one can learn medicine with great exposure

What I didn’t like

Faculty wise there are some poor departments where you will be treated like shit even though you work continuously for more than 24hrs.
There is no campus as it's filled with patients.

Placement Experience:

There is no such placements from college side. If you want you can join as junior residency here in various department while you are preparing for your PG exams or any other further studies. Currently compulsory rural service can be completed here.

Internships Opportunities:

Internship is compulsory program. Stipend will be 30k currently provided by GOK which will be almost regular. Some amount will be asked by college as donation for eco clubs or other things which will be given with your consent.

What I Liked

In Hassan institute of medical sciences the faculty are good and infrastructure are well maintained and very good college
In Hassan institute of medical science the campus maintenance are very good with everywhere greenary and clean

What I didn’t like

In Hassan institute of medical science there no negative point regarding our college
There is a no dislike point for our college and all event are good

Placement Experience:

In Hassan institute of medical science after final year we are supposed to our college appoint as intern for 1 year . The aggrement was made for 1 year intership work on joining for 1st year and we are supposed to work in different departments

Internships Opportunities:

In Hassan institute of medical sciences the internship for one year appointed by our college to worl in different department like medicine surgery orthopaedic obg pediatrics etc and we are provided with stayfund of resonable amount

Its a good choice to begin with

What I Liked

Smart faculty which focus on skill development.
Campus Life is slow and beautiful with calm environment.

What I didn’t like

Fest are just a bunch of competitions within peers
College is very strict regarding attendance and marks.

Placement Experience:

After passing your final year you are awarded an opportunity for an internship, you can get a stipend of up to 35,000 based on the year you passed the exam. After getting a degree you need to register yourself with KMC and get yourself a license for practice.

Internships Opportunities:

The college itself provides us with opportunities of internship which offers all sorts of medical and professional skills. You will posted under all the departments for some time under the supervision of a senior resident for skill development.

What I Liked

I like academics here and u can develop good skills in hospital

What I didn’t like

Here u will not get much extra curricular activities like sports functions are held but not so interesting

Placement Experience:

After graduation, u can go for a job like a medical officer or u can go for higher education like MS or Ms. it’s like not where u will get the direct opportunities from college u have to take various entrance exams.

Internships Opportunities:

Right now I am in my third year so I am just going to college and haven’t done any internship. U have to do an internship after the final year which duration is 1 year in a college hospital and u will get 30,000. per month.

It's not a go to college.

What I Liked

Faculty is impressive in doing it's work with utmost skillset.
Weather here is nice and calm all around the year.

What I didn’t like

Corruption is a issue in this college from administrative department to professionals.
Strict rules and threatening regarding attendance deduction is a common thing.

Placement Experience:

Internship is given on campus hospital for a mandatory period of 12 months also a stipend is given of above 30k per month. Skills are the major point of doing an internship in this college. Doctors play a huge role in maintaining discipline and persistence for the development of clinical behaviour.

Internships Opportunities:

The stipend is provided only by the government itself, after the internship, you will be provided with your degree which you need to register by KMC RGUHs, after which you can start private clinics or work in a government hospital or clinic.

Hims Hassan Karnataka, a good choice or a bad decision.

What I Liked

The college infrastructure regarding patient load management is impressive.
Fast and interconnected departments make it seem like a software working efficiently.

What I didn’t like

Too much pressure on students to maintain discipline and attendance.
Faculty here includes people with low self confidence and high insecurities.

Placement Experience:

You need to pass the final year exam or pass the supplementary exam, then you are promoted to an intern with a monthly salary of 33000/- for a year. Each of the students undergo an internship. After completing the internship you will be provided with a graduation degree. After which you will have to apply for KMC registration in RGUHS to practice clinical knowledge.

Internships Opportunities:

The internship is provided in the same hospital. As an intern, you are posted in different departments over 4 weeks in major departments and a week in minor departments. The stipend is 396000/- annually in hand.

What I Liked

Infrastructure is nice with a new hospital
Teaching faculty are nice except 1 or 2

What I didn’t like

Campus is a bit conjusted and no space for fests
Near the college their are no recreation places

Placement Experience:

After completing 4 years of the course we can do the internship in the same teaching hospital. The salary for an intern is about 30000 which comes directly from the government. For MBBS there is nothing as such of campus placements.

Internships Opportunities:

The internship is compulsory after completing our 4-year degree. We have to do our Internship with the same teaching hospital and the salary is 30000 per month. It's only for one year and then after we can pursue our PG.

What I Liked

Infrastructure is my favourite in this college
Campus is nature friendly with less plastic use

Environment around the colle is very noisy
No more unlikes it is a good campus in overall

It is a medical College of course you will get a job at a hospital with a respective salary also students get a salary at the time of internship amt of 30,000 per month . Overall guaranteed salary after completion of the course

Internships Opportunities:

yes, an internship is available at college with a salary of 30,000 per month with good practice and with a lot of patients in all departments with supporting teaching staff. You will learn everything in an internship.
