You can't borrow books to your home unless you claimed seat in SC/ST quota. All kinds of books related to medicine are available in library.

Fests are not by other colleges, but they do arrange some sort of competition. Clubs are underrated here among my peers although they don't offer many opportunities to students. Hostel food is very decent and delicious.

Campus life is not so good u can live a decent life here as you can't enjoy much on a medical college campus like iit. Fest is held every year. Different clubs are here like an eco club, and sports club but not very active. The college provides a hostel that is autonomous and not funded by the government. mostly U will get South Indian food here.

The campus is still in development and needs a lot of work, a new hostel is being Built for final-year students. There are 5 major clubs in HIMS Eco club Sports club Litt club Kannada Sangha Food Club Hostel food is as good as dogshit.

"Aikya" is the name of the fest done during August or September. Not so good just a bunch of dance and other competitions between students. Different types of books are available in the college library starting from a book weighing 50gm to 8 kg. Each one of these books covers a vast majority of medical knowledge. Classrooms are well equipped, no AC at all Rooms remain cool because of the constant weather in Hassan. Sports activities are not endorsed that much by the college itself. Mainly 5 clubs are there in the college - ECO club ( wealth) - sports club - food club - Litt club - kannada Sangh Food is the worst nightmare for an outsider, the first year had a hard time by itself. The security deposit is 15000/- which is refundable. Each month costs 4000/- hostel bill.

The campus might disappoint a bit because of limited space for any celebrations. But this is the cleanest Campus in the whole of Karnataka. The ambience is nice with the cool weather. Every possible amenity is available nearby. The hostel is not so good and the food is normal. Fests are conducted every year.

Talking about the good part, it's is the best campus to be in all credit to the Hassan weather. There is enough infrastructural support in the college there is been a new MCHC hospital opened recently, and a super speciality hospital, a new hostel other than the existing two hostels is under construction, and the new library has been built, so infrastructure 9/10.

The campus has a playground, a separate gym for girls and boys, separate hostel availability with 24*7 water supply and cleaning staff. Greenary campus with canteen. Total 4 hostels. Hostels have separate messes. With good meal.

Yearly fests are conducted n the name changes every year according to who organise. There is well equipped central library n also a digital library for all the necessary info. There is a study room which can occupy 200+ students at a time. There is an indoor sports room n also all the equipments for outdoor sports. There are clubs like eco club, cultural committee, sports club, literary and magazine, Kannada sangha, etc, hostel food is Okok. Menu changes every week. Mainly the food is South Indian. The campus is great outside with hostels, college, hospital being within the campus.
