What I Liked

Huge library with lots of books and research papers
Well maintained laboratories and museums.

What I didn’t like

Slow and unclear administrative processes and conducts
Shortness of resources for doctors and medical coworkers

Placement Experience:

You have to complete MBBS degree first and then qualify Post graduation entrance exam. According to marks and merit post graduation seat will be provided with stipend. Some of them can apply for various posts also, whenever vacancy available

Internships Opportunities:

No Internship is provided at the end of the course. Internship after 4.5 years of MBBS course which includes duties in various departments. Interns are paid for their services also. Stipend is provided on monthly basis

What I Liked

Campus life is good specially fest nd sports
Fest are love 1 week event totally enjoyable

What I didn’t like

Invaders sometimes come nd do nuceance thats bad
Food quality I don't like sometimes specially of canteen

Placement Experience:

House surgeon jobs are provided after completion of course ....u are provided degree via which u can get job anywhere easily as rims name is enough....or u get placement after pg in any govt hospital by administration itself

Internships Opportunities:

Not yet opted ...but it's available in rims 26k stipend of which 24k is given monthly nd 2k is given after 1 year (I e., 24k at end of internship) payment are not timely but atleast way more than other colleges

Nice and awesome

What I Liked

Infrastructure and campus life are very nice with good people around you
Faculty are very helpful in your bad times

What I didn’t like

One bad aspect could be the open campus as it allow outsiders to roam in campus

Placement Experience:

Internship here gives you a salary of 30 thousand which is very nice and about the placement you need to crack exams for higher studies as there is no facility of mds in our college and one need to compete the exams and get placed

Internships Opportunities:

I am studying in third year now and still have two years to get placed so I have very less knowledge about the placement opportunities the stipend is quite good here which is 30000 and pay you very well

What I Liked

If we talk about infrastructure overall infrastructure is good because it is a very old college.

Placement Experience:

In medical field there is no such things like placement from college. College provide only degree and skill to you. After doing ug students either go for pg or open own clinic or practice under someone

Internships Opportunities:

After completing four year course you have to complete one year compulsory internship in which you will get stipend from government which is approximately 27k. During this period you will be posted in different departments.

Dental Institute of RIMS

What I Liked

Infrastructure is good but it needs a little maintenance. Dental chairs are available.
Teachers are experienced and the guiders but like every other professional medical College environment is a bit toxic.

What I didn’t like

Dental materials which we have to use on the patients are not always available we have to buy our own stuff to develop our skills it is kind of expensive
Doing classes sometimes is hectic because some of the classes are held in the respective hospital premises which are far away from the dental building

Placement Experience:

Internship is provided in the last year of your course for one year. My plan after completing the scores is to pursue MDS. College placement is not available through college but in an internship, you get a salary of rupees 30000 per month.

Internships Opportunities:

The internship is available in the last year of your course you get a salary of rupees 30000 per month for 1 year. Here you will supervise your juniors and assist the professors during attending patients.

Dental Institute of RIMS

What I Liked

sufficient patients are available in a government hospital to help you develop your skills
infrastructure is good and college is beautiful but a little maintainance is required

What I didn’t like

consumeable dental materials are not always available so you have to buy your own materials to work on patience which is kind of expensive
like other government medical colleges you will face some toxicity

Placement Experience:

There is no college placement. You are only provided one year of internship in which you are granted a salary of rupees 30000 per month for 1 year. You probably should prepare for MDS or many other fields like UPSC if you desire to but BDS in itself makes you capable enough to start your clinic.

Internships Opportunities:

The internship is available in the last year of this course after completing 4 years of exams. You are provided with one year of internship in which you are given a salary of rupees 30000 every month. You will supervise the students and assist the OPD.

Why to choose Rajendra institute of medical sciences over any other medical colleges?

What I Liked

Faculties are well experienced and knowledgeable. Campus life provide good with providing exposure to extra curricular activities.
Recently infrastructure is improving with newly constructed academic building along with library, classroom is well equipped with all the latest technological facilities required for teaching and learning.

What I didn’t like

Resources are less compared to the students to be taught.
Faculty number is far low as compared to the classroom strength of 180 students.

Placement Experience:

After completing MBBS one can apply for a house surgeon course with a monthly income of 80k-90k or one can start a private practice in hospitals or self-established clinics. The requirement for getting a job in any private hospital is a minimal MBBS degree.

Internships Opportunities:

After 4 years of studies it is compulsory for each student to complete 1 year of mandatory internship from the college hospital which is essential for clinical aspects and practical learning. The stipend for the internship is around 30k per month.

A glimpse of my college

What I Liked

RIMS is one of the best medical college with state-of-the-art facilities. It facilitate teaching through modern tools and technology. The classrooms are fully air-conditioned and provided with Wi-Fi connection. There is also one Cricket stadium and a badminton court.
The campus has many parks where beautiful plants and flowers grow. The campus is full of evergreen trees.

What I didn’t like

The college administration is not upto the mark. There are often incidents of disputes among students and outsiders.
Unsupportive non academic staffs. They are often rude.

Placement Experience:

After completing the course there are lots of job opportunities in government and corporate hospitals. You can even start your own clinic. There is no system of placement in medical college. Average salary after completing MBBS is around 50,000-70,000 depending upon the city. Majority of the students after completing the course opt for higher studies.

Internships Opportunities:

After completing final year, students are obliged for 1 year compulsory internship in the hospital setting. The stipend given in internship is about 24,000. During the internship, medical students are posted in different departments for fixed duration of time. The interns do the basic check ups and assist the senior doctors in different procedures.

What I Liked

Hostel facilities are awesome. Faculties are nice and always available. Campus life is very good.
All facilities are available for the students.

What I didn’t like

There are more boundation to students in the Campus.
No table and chairs are alloted in the rooms.

Placement Experience:

After the completion of 4.4 years of academics one year internship is compulsory for which 30k per months is provided. After which one can clear Neet pg exam and get salary of 1 Lakh per months in Same or different college

Internships Opportunities:

Internship is available and compulsory for every students in the same college for one year , and every students are alloted to different departments for internship for particular periods of time. After completion then one can eligible for post graduation .
