Eco friendly atmosphere with a lot of enjoyment.

What I Liked

There will be lots of trees in our college, lt gives a pleasant feeling around the college.
The staffs will support both financially and friendly with us on our studies and we can clarify our doubts when they're available.

What I didn’t like

Labarotaries are not well equipped,All the machines are outdated.
Placements options are very less,It field is the most available option in our college.

Placement Experience:

Most of the company recruits are based on arrears. There are various placement options for the IT field but the core company will visit our college rarely. the highest package will be 12 LPA. The average will be 3-6 LPA. I have not been placed on our campus, but I am looking for a design engineer role and developing my design skills by learning new Design software. Nearly 60% of students have been placed in our batch.

Internships Opportunities:

Yes, I have opted internship in NLC Pvt. limited and got a stipend of around 11k.I worked as a trainee engineer and learned about bucket wheels, SME Gearboxes mining, etc. We have analyzed the SME gearbox and made a report.

A Students college Experience in ACGCET

What I Liked

I like the college infrastructure and the abundance of knowledge available there to collect in the campus and the hostel was one of the unforgettable moments for every students
In the sports, we get good guidance for the right sport and there is also NCC available where we can train and go to camps also

What I didn’t like

There will be some cons wherever there is good so I dislike the most is maintanence inside.

Placement Experience:

The placements are very good and a lot of very reputed companies have approached the college and many students have got placed in a variety of companies in core and IT also, the placement cell helps the students in getting placed, the recruiters like ZOHO, Gofrugal, L&T, Saint gobain, karomi , base automation, etc. the packages started for about 2.5lpa to 8.4 , 9 and above LPAs also.

College life in ACGCET

What I Liked

Campus Life is some what good only well equipped lab.
All types of sports have been appreciated and provide support for sports.

What I didn’t like

Mess food quality is very low and fees is high.
Staff's in this college have head weight.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is not good enough and some start-up companies are only coming for placement and internships are only provided for some students by the college others are gone for internships on their own. Placement in this college was very poor.

Internships Opportunities:

I have opted for a dote internship that is provided for students by the directorate of technical education in Chennai yearly they choose 45 members for a department and provide a stipend for then scholars doing internship.

Greeny atmosphere and a good college life

What I Liked

Most of the faculties are students friendly and supportive.
The mechanical symbosium is best part of my college life .

What I didn’t like

Placements are only for IT field and there are very less options for core field.
Some of the faculties judge the students by their activities and treat them very badly.

Placement Experience:

Placements are worst compared to private colleges.There are lots of options and opportunities for IT fields but the core company placements are too less. The highest package is around 15 LPA. The average package would be around 4 LPA.I am planning for masters.

Internships Opportunities:

I haven't gone to any internships.They focus only on dote internships not on any other students. But the placement cell offers some of the students for other internships.They sent the students for internships to both core and It field based on their interests.

Good college life but no placements.

What I Liked

Faculties are good in teaching and supportive to students
Campus life is good because of atmosphere and liberty.

What I didn’t like

Infrastructure was not that good compared to other colleges.
College life will be worse at the end semester for internals.

Placement Experience:

Placements are too bad it's only for the IT fields. The core opportunities are very less. I have an idea of starting a business. The highest package is around 10 LPA and the average package would be 5 LPA.

Internships Opportunities:

I have done my internship in NSSIC, Guindy through a DOTE internship. I have received a stipend of 16k. They have worked as trainee En for 25 days. Dote internship offers NLC Pvt Ind limited, Southern railways, NSSIC etc and various internships will be provided through the placement cell.

Peacefull part in life

What I Liked

College surrounding was very good and beautiful
Lab facilites and teaching method are very nice

What I didn’t like

Some of the times bathroom may not in clean
At some of the times the hostel bathroom was not clean

Placement Experience:

The placement class has been taken from 4 sem onwards and eligible criteria is for a good company need a above 7CGPA and the highest package is 700000 and the average pqckage is 350000 per annum and my plans after a degree is higher studies

Internships Opportunities:

The placed person in a company the company itself offers a training with stipend and others are will be preferrred to their own search of the internship and the lots of company will also be offers a intetship

Missing ACCET

What I Liked

The atmosphere and the college faculties and the friends circle got there was a really good feel and it's a great surrounding of people and nature.
There is ragging in our college and seniors are behaving so friendly without any hesitation and overlook.

What I didn’t like

We have to wander a lot for getting signature from the faculties in case of a scholarship registration.
Hostel food is worst in both hostels for boys and girls. It's not hygienic too.
Some staffs are partial too but not all staffs are bad. Some tend to target of one and punish them for the past thing made.

Placement Experience:

We have a placement cell and placement mam separately who handles all the placement of our college. The placement rate of our college is 90 % and from the first year, students ought to attend placement training classes and aptitude sessions for their training of initial step for the interview which us an aptitude round. Zoho, tata, amazon, etc are the main reputed companies who come to recruit us.

Internships Opportunities:

I haven't opted any internship but there is a rule in our college that all student must attend an internship before entering their final year. They student can get internship opportunities on their own or the placement cell will also provide some internship opportunities.
