CVR College of engineering is one of the reputed institutions of Telangana, and ranks between 100 and 150 in NIRF rankings. Admissions to B.Tech programs at CVR College of engineering are done on the basis of entrance exams, for students from the state of Telangana as well as students from other states of India. Selection Criteria

The process of admission includes the application process and registration for JEE Main or TS EAMCET. The application process is to be done online. Requirements for TS EAMCET application are:

Students, who are willing to appear for TS EAMCET, have to pay a fee of INR 500. SC and ST candidates have to pay INR 250 for the same.

• TSCHE releases the application form at www.eamcet.tsche.ac.in, which can be accessed by students.
• There are 3 main steps involved in the completion of this Application Form.
• The students must ensure that the application is filled properly and a print out of the receipt of the payment has to be kept.
• After this, personal details along with photograph and signature have to be submitted in the application form.

Admission process for JEE Main

The application fee for JEE Main depends on the type of candidature. For students from the general category, the fee is INR 325. Here is the list of the documentations required for applying for JEE Main:

• Recently scanned passport sized photographs (colored or black/white), in JPG/JPEG format are to be submitted in the application form. The photograph has to be clear, or else it can also get rejected by the concerned authorities.
• Scanned signature (JPEG or JPG format) with a size between 4 kb and 30 kb are also compulsory.

How to apply?

Firstly, visit the official website of JEE Main and click on the option of “Fill Online Application Form”. Then, register on the same by submitting the personal details, and generate a user id and password. The application number for your form will be generated after you submit the details. The form requires personal details, address, and mobile number of the applicant. One can also set the security question and a password to access the application afterwards. Lastly, submit the application form by logging in.

CVR College of Engineering M.Tech admissions 2024

Admissions for M.Tech are totally based upon entrance exam. A total of 6 specializations are offered by CVR College of engineering, i.e.:

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible for M.Tech at CVR College of engineering, one has to have a B.E or B.Tech degree with a minimum of 50 percent aggregate (general category) and 45 percent aggregate for the reserved categories. The degree has to be in a relevant discipline.

Selection Criteria

The process of selection for M.Tech includes qualifying either of the entrances (GATE/GPAT or TS PGECET). Here is the detailed account of the application process via TS PGECET:

To submit an application, one has to visit the official website of TS PGECET, i.e. www.pgecet.tsche.ac.in. The rest of the process consists of the following steps:

• Firstly, register for PGECET by providing the required details and pay the registration fee as per the category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/General).
• After the payment is done, you will receive a transaction ID and password on the Email ID and Mobile No that were registered.
• The applicant can then fill the application as well as login with the generated credentials.
• After filling the complete application, the applicants are required to upload recent passport sized photograph and scanned signature to complete the procedure.

Admission Process through GATE

The applicants have to apply through the official website of GOAPS, here, generation of a new ID and password has to be carried out. Documentations required for registration for GATE examination are:

• Scanned photograph (passport sized) and signature.
• Valid ID proof (Aadhaar Card/Passport/Driving License/PAN Card/Voter ID/College ID/Employee Identification Card/Notarized Affidavit with Photo, Signature, Date of Birth and Residential Address).
• Degree Certificate/Provisional Certificate/Course Completion Certificate.
• Copy of mark sheet of V /VI /VII semester.
• Final year students have to submit a Provisional Certificate Letter as per the format which was issued by the Head of the Department.
• Candidates in the final year of AMIE have to submit their mark sheet for Section A of AMIE in case of professional equivalent qualifications.
• Caste Certificate/Disability or PwD Certificate (if applicable).
• Candidates who are pursuing higher education (masters) have to submit the qualifying degree certificate issued to them.
