Genuine and Helpful

What I Liked

I like some teachers who are really very appreciable and experienced.
I also like the exam guard cause it is very strict.

What I didn’t like

The most I hate is Placement and faculty.
The classroom is very bad some times electricity was not there and no AC

Placement Experience:

Basically there was not held any type of campus this year so I can't guess the package but they promised first that they will provide a placement of minimum 5LPA but at the end they deny it and we get fool.

Remarks:

So I have heard about this college from my seniors. They also in that college and told me to take admission in this college but my experience is not good. The room of the college is very bad even we pay 85k+ in a year we didn't get any AC in our room no placements not a good faculty.

An Unforgettable Journey: My Experience at Calcutta Institute of Engineering and Management (CIEM)

What I Liked

I like the college's infrastructure and the location.
I also like the campus life where we enjoy with our friends. The senior of this college are so co-operative and helpful.

What I didn’t like

I dislike few faculties due to their unexpected behaviour.
The library is good but it should be improved.

Placement Experience:

Many companies come to this college for placement offers, but they hire very few candidates with their CGPA and then their all types of procedures including interviews. But for an internship, no such company has come to our college.

Remarks:

The infrastructure and location with affordable fees are the main factors that made me choose this college. No, I didn't face any group Discussions, Interviews or Written Tests for admission. I got admission directly to this college without any donation due to when I was admitted the university registration was left just 2 to 3 days and some seats remained blank.

Review for a ENGINEERING COLLEGE IN HEART OF CALCUTTA

What I Liked

The INFRASTRUCTURE WAS VERY GOOD AND UPDATED
Faculties were very helpful and friendly

What I didn’t like

Campus life was little bit rowdy and some students were very ruthless

Placement Experience:

Eligibility criteria is 60% in all semester xam. Tech Mahindra, tcs,Wipro Mostly all students got placed in college The highest package is 19lpa and the average was 5 lpa Mostly 99% of students got placed in MNCs and a startup Right now I'm doing Mtech from IIT Kharagpur

Remarks:

Yes, I had to sit a common WBJEE then I got to this college from a counselling of WBJEE. Then with the marksheet of 12 and the joint entrance grade card we've to visit the college for an admission process. No need to face any GD or an interview for admission.

A CLEAR AND CRISP SUMUP OF 3 YEAR EXPERIENCE IN CIEM

What I Liked

I LIKE COLLGE PLAYGROUND AND COLLEGE PLACEMENT OFFICE ALSO THE COMMON ROOMS
I ALSO LOVE THE ECOSPACE OF THE COLLGE WITH ALL PALNTS AND TREES AROUND

What I didn’t like

I HATE COLLGE LABS AND LIBRARY I THINK IT SHOULD BE WELL DEVELOPED
I ALSO HATE THE COLLEGE CANTEEN CUZ IT HAS VERY ONE DIRECTIONAL AND TASTE MENU

Placement Experience:

PLACEMENTS AND JOB OPPORTUNITIES ARE NOT WELL. COMPANIES ARE COMING BUT WITH A VERY LESS PACKAGE. THE PLACMENT CELL IS WORKING CONSTANTLY IN THIS DOMAIN TO IMPROVE THIS. I HAVE PLANNED TO TAKE AN OFF-CAMPUS PLACEMENT. I AM CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN 9 9-MONTH BOOT CAMP IN CODING NINJAS IN A FULL STACK DEVELOPMENT COURSE WITH PLACEMENT OPPORTUNITIES.

Remarks:

I WAS PREPARING FOR NDA AND DUE TO THE PANDEMIC I WAS UNABLE TO GO GIVE MY EXAMS AND LAST OPTION WAS ENGINEERING AND I GAVE WEBJEE AS IT WAS THE EARLIEST IN ALL COMPETITIVE EXAMS.I HAVE MADE A LIST OF COLLGE DURING MY WEBJEE COUNSELLING AND FROM THERE I GOT THIS COLLEGE

Review of Calcutta Institute Of Engineering And Management

What I Liked

I like COA and many other subject faculties and the admins are helpful.
I like sports club , coding club and HOD's , principal and director of their support towards students.

What I didn’t like

I dislike some of the faculties in this college
I dislike that there is not much internship opportunities

Placement Experience:

As I am in my second year of my college and BTECH so till now i havent sit for placements but according to my knowledge average companies appeared in the campus for placement sessions and average number of placements happen this year. My plan is to sit for off-campus placements after my degree. percentage of students getting placed is around 55to60% recruters like tcs , mindtree , dell etc

Remarks:

I appeared for WBJEE exam through which I got a rank and admitted into this college. Opted for this college as this so near to my home and fees are at a reasonable level and many other factors like campus placement according to the fees structure is more like average.
