- I like COA and many other subject faculties and the admins are helpful.
- I like sports club , coding club and HOD's , principal and director of their support towards students.

- I dislike some of the faculties in this college
- I dislike that there is not much internship opportunities
Remarks :
I appeared for WBJEE exam through which I got a rank and admitted into this college. Opted for this college as this so near to my home and fees are at a reasonable level and many other factors like campus placement according to the fees structure is more like average.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose BTECH in CSE cause I had a passion for coding and aiming to build a career around it. The faculties have a minimum qualification of MTECH and max goes till PHD There are all total 8 semester in the whole course and each semesters have 4 CA exams of moderate difficulties and semester have a good standard of questions. when i entered in 2022 The overall fees for the course was 3.6 lakh for 8 semesters but the fees hiked this year for the new admissions at 4.1 lakh scholarships are available like the government and swami vivekananda.
Internships Opportunities :
As I am in my second year of my college and BTECH so till now i havent sit for interships and all but accoding to my knowledge no such internships opportunities are available through this college , students opting for internships off-campus.
Placement Experience :
As I am in my second year of my college and BTECH so till now i havent sit for placements but according to my knowledge average companies appeared in the campus for placement sessions and average number of placements happen this year. My plan is to sit for off-campus placements after my degree. percentage of students getting placed is around 55to60% recruters like tcs , mindtree , dell etc
Campus Life :
The Grand Fest CELSIUS conducted every year on the month of JAN-FEB At an average every books as per subjects are available at library of the college and classrooms are descent with white boards and some of them have projectors and fans no AC's , some of the labs have AC's Football , Cricket , Table tennis are given great attention and chess also happen here. Interdepartment also happen here. There are coding clubs , dance clubs , fashion clubs those do practices and participates in event outside or intercollege events. As of no hostel are there in the college but college are partnered with some PG's outside the college nearby which provide food and lodging.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
