The placement rate of our college is very poor and college doesn't provide placements to engineering traits like mechanical civil and electronics engineering but provides placement to computer and textile engineering. Internships are provided by our college in various Government and private sectors.

Not much of the placement. Max placement scope is in textile field only as this course is present in jngec only in whole himachal pradesh. Highest package in textile is like 18lpa and average lpa of textile is around 2lpa.

7 semester students become eligible for campus placements. Most companies related to textile industries come for placement as it is one and only one government college in Himachal which offers textile engineering. The average package is about 6,7 lakhs Almost 30% students gets placed. My plan after degree is to pursue for my further studies

So this college is the 1st engineering college of Himachal Pradesh and one of the oldest college also.By which the college have lots of link wit IIT's and NIT of India. Student went IIT like kanpur and etc to gather more knowledge and present technology used in industry's.

I am in the second year and after my 2 year batch there is only 3 batch in CSE so I don't know that how the companies are come to college so I think so and the percentage of companies to have jobs is around 70 %

Eligibility criteria for placements is based on companies some companies have criteria that students who have more than 6.5 cgpa can give their interview and some companies has no criteria of cgpa at all.

Internships can be done paid or unpaid willing of the students we can go to IIT Mandi or nit Hamirpur for that and placement is normal as tcs come for mass recruitment and only few students are placed through campus placement
