Diploma in Pharmacy holders can enter the second year of B.Pharm directly through the lateral entry programme, which has a total fee of INR 54,200.

HPTU Admission Process

HPTU uses entrance examination scores and centralised counselling for admission to most professional courses. The accepted examination, academic marks, reservation rules, and selection stages depend on the programme.

  1. Select the course and confirm that its academic eligibility requirements are met.
  2. Appear for the entrance examination accepted for that programme, such as JEE Main, HPCET, CAT, MAT, XAT, GATE, or GPAT.
  3. Register for HPTU counselling and submit the required academic, entrance score, domicile, and category documents.
  4. Enter the preferred courses and colleges during the choice-filling stage.
  5. Complete the programme-specific selection stages, including interviews, group discussions, or personal interviews where applicable.
  6. After receiving a seat, finish document verification and pay the required admission fee.

B.Tech Admission

Half of the available B.Tech seats are assigned through JEE Main, while the remaining 50% are filled using HPCET. Students seeking a seat under the HPCET quota must have Himachal Pradesh domicile.

  • Applicants need Physics and Mathematics as compulsory Class 12 subjects, plus one subject from Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Biology. They must have at least 45% marks, or 40% if they belong to a reserved category.
  • The minimum qualifying level in JEE Main is the 15th percentile for General category applicants and the 10th percentile for reserved category applicants.
  • For HPCET, General category students need at least 20%, while reserved category students need 15%.

MBA Admission
