- The college infrastructure is unique, it is constructed in a circular shape. It is located in a lap of nature between beautiful mountains and lake view.
- Faculties of the college are very helpful and kind in nature.
Dislikes
- Lack of faculty of the subjects, lack of exposure such as no market facilities, no transportation facilities.
- Lack of play ground facilities ..only limited sports facilities are available such as volleyball, table tennis, badminton.
Remarks :
I got admission here on the basis of my jee main score. Students can get admission here on the basis of their jee main score, 12 marks and HPCET exam results. Councelling is held at himachal pradesh technical university and various rounds are held on the basis of different categories.. our college offers variety of trades and situated in the beautiful lap of nature which attracts many students.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose electrical engineering trade because from school I'm interested in the electrical phenomenon and projects and studies that are related to electrical engineering. . The facilities present here in the college are very kind , helpful and knowledgeable. Every year contains 2 semester exams and each semester contains its own two internal exams that are known as mst . The difficulty level of the exams is intermediate. Maximum percentage of the students are able to pass the exam's.
Internships Opportunities :
No , i didn't opted for any internship because in our college only the students of 3 and 4 year can apply for internship. NHPC AND NTPC are the government affiliated companies in which students can go for their internships .
Placement Experience :
Till now our college didn't offer any college of placement because government hydro engineering college is a new college. There's no facility of campus placement. After completing their graduation students needs to go out off campus for placement to get employment.

Campus Life :
Our campus is situated in the lap of nature in between the beautiful mountains, lakes . College is completely surrounded by greenery. Campus offer's various facilities such that various play grounds are present, cafetaria, hostel and gardens. The college campus also contain a Library in which variety of books biographies autobiographies are present. Their are various social groups on Instagram, facebook that are handled or managed by students themselves.
Hostel Facilities :
For taking room in a hostel, we need to talk to the college administration and then talk to supritendent of the hostel . Every room of the hostel has 3 students. Mess facility is also their in the hostel. Mess serves a variety of items on the daily basis based on the mess menu.

placement are good many cse students have package in crores i think cse nad ece branch is good but other branch package is around 10 lakh if i would suggest students i suggest go for cse or ece branch because in the era of artificial intelligence nad machine learning these two branches are booming and the package are also best in these branches you can also try for gate exam after the civil mechanical or electrical you can get jib in public plus private jobs
