Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology (MGIT) is a private university situated in Telangana, established in 1997. It is approved by AICTE and NBA and recognized by UGC. MGIT is accredited by the NAAC with an ‘A++’ grade. According to The Week 2024 report, the university was ranked #143 out of 245 universities under ‘Engineering’ category. It offers admission to UG and PG programs in multiple specializations. Admission to the various courses is based on scores obtained in state and national tests.

MGIT offers admission to B.Tech. as its flagship program. MGI B.Tech fee 2025 is INR 6.46 lakhs. To be eligible for admission, the candidate must have qualified 10+2 from a recognized board. MGIT Placement 2024 report has not been released. However, the placement 2023 data shows that the highest package offered was INR 13.08 LPA. The median package offered was INR 5.02 LPA. The top recruiters during MGIT Placement 2023 were TCS, Cognizant GenC, Virtusa, Capgemini, Hitachi, IBM, Hyundai Transys, Toshiba Mitsubishi, and more.
