The main factor was the aluni network and the placements. I faced a Personal interview during my selection. From this year the process is now offline so the students also have to give WAT. This year the process was very rigorous.

IMT Ghaziabad is a college with 40+ year legacy with great reputation in the Industry and curriculum. My factors for selecting this institute are: It is known as Mecca for marketing. The campus is in the NCR corporate hub Hosts close to 180 companies for placements Great & Diverse culture Comes in the top 25 MBA institutes Currently, the college ranking has been going down a bit The director changed recently It has been experiencing some issues The average package has gone down a bit Big batch size is a negative The Process includes filling a form of the college which is 3000/- rs. It takes CAT (2400/- for form) & XAT(2000/- for form) mba entrances It consists of GD and then PI. The PI is moderate and tests your personality, confidence and basic knowledge. The CAT cut off is 92-93% and for XAT it is 90% Prepare around current affairs, recent developments, and undergrad knowledge(basic), Thoroughly for Workex if you have worked previously. Every factor is good i believe , IMT is one of the oldest business school with a huge alumni base . Great faculty , learning is all practical with case discussions . The campus is one of the best and the location of the college is also great within delhi ncr in the most safest and posh region of ghaziabad with everything nearby and accessible. The admission process at my time included an essay writing and a personal interview , both of which were online.

There are no Group discussions. Only Interview. Students get interview calls from their CAT/XAT results. My interview was very smooth. It is never a stressful interview, all students will say that the interview was very relaxed.

Location as many companies from Delhi come in the placement drive. Great for marketing. Faculty is renowned. Placements are above 14 lpa , on campus program , hostel and food is included in fees hence no need to pay extra. Focus is a lot on case competitions and clubs & committees . Hence extra curricular is also prioritised

Took admission by appearing in the CAT Exam and then shortlisted for PI. Batch size has been very high for the last 2 years which has had a direct impact on the placements. College don't have 100% placements (this is very inner news). They show 100% placements by forcing unplaced students to opt out of the campus placement procedure. College life is very good. The campus is very well-built. No restrictions on the hostel (like parties, and all). Faculty and education are on top. Excess to the library and Bloomberg Terminal.
