Vardhman College of Engineering offers several undergraduate and postgraduate courses such as B.Tech, M.Tech, and MBA. It offers 9 programs in Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) ranging from mechanical engineering to artificial intelligence along with five master of technology programs (M.Tech), and one Master of Business Administration Program (MBA). The minimum eligibility criteria are a 10+2 examination for undergraduate courses and a bachelor's qualification for postgraduate courses. The admission is merit based on the state-level and national-level competitive examinations. The individual having a higher score is given priority first.

This college offers a total intake of 1230 students annually in all undergraduate and postgraduate courses. 70% of the seats are filled on the basis of merit, whereas 30% of the seats are reserved for management quota or NRI, foreign quota.

This college offers full-time 4-year B.Tech courses in nine disciplines, which are, computer science and engineering, Computer Science and Engineering (specifically Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning), Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and Data Sciences, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering.

 Eligibility Criteria

The admission is based on TS EAMCET. The eligibility criteria for TS EAMCET are:

  1. Nationality: Aspirant must be Indian, a Person who originated in India, or an Overseas citizen of India. Aspirants should belong to the state of Telangana or Andhra Pradesh. Candidates should qualify for local or non-local stature of the state. Local candidates are the ones who have pursued their high school and high school examination from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Rest all of the aspirants are considered non-local
  2. Age: The aspirant must be 17 years old on December 31 of the year he/she is appearing. The upper age limit is 22 years.
  3. Qualification: The candidate must have passed his/her 12th examination from a recognized board and institute in the state of Telangana or Andhra Pradesh (or any other state for the non-local aspirants). The subjects compulsory to appear for TS EAMCET engineering are Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics, any vocational course relevant to these subjects, or a diploma course organized by the State Board of Technical Education and Training is also valid.
  4. Qualifying marks: The candidate has to secure a minimum score of 25% in order to qualify for the examination.

The admission is done based on the score in the TS EAMCET examination. The individual having a higher score is given priority first.

Vardhman College of Engineering: M. Tech Admissions

The college offers a full-time two-year post-graduate M.Tech program in five disciplines, Engineering Design, Structural Engineering, Digital Electronics and Communication Systems, Power Electronics and Electrical Drives, and Computer Science and Engineering. The total intake into the M.Tech program is 90 students, 18 for each stream.

 Eligibility Criteria:

The admission is on the basis of the GATE Exam. The eligibility criteria for the GATE exam are:

  1. Qualification: The candidate must have passed his/her graduation (B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Sc, M.B.B.S, etc.) from a recognized university, or should be in the last year of graduation.
  2. Age: there is no age limit
  3. Nationality: Everyone is eligible

Selection Criteria 

The selection is based on the rank obtained in the GATE examination, or on the basis of their own entrance examination JNTU common entrance examination.

Vardhman College of Engineering: M.B.A admissions

The college offers a two-year full-time generic MBA course to the aspirants under the autonomous scheme. The total intake for this course is 60 students. This course provides in-depth knowledge of both theoretical and practical areas of the business administration field. The admission is on the basis of the rank and score in the state-level entrance examination TS- ICET, conducted by the Telangana State council of higher education. 30% of the seats are reserved for the management quota students.

 Eligibility Criteria:

The admission is based on TSICET, hence, the eligibility criteria for the TSICET examination are:

  1. The nationality should be eligible for the university concerned.
  2. The minimum age limit should be 19 at the time of examination, and there is no upper age limit.
  3. The candidate must have passed a Bachelor's Degree of a minimum of 3 years duration (BA / B. Com/ B.Sc./ BBA / BBM / BCA / BE /B. Tech / B. Pharmacy / Any 3- or 4-year Degree except Oriental Languages) with at least 50% marks in mark sheet (45% marks in case of SC and ST categories) in the graduation. Final-year students are also eligible.
  4. The minimum qualifying mark is 25%.
