XLRI Jamshedpur Campus & Infrastructure

XLRI Campus is spread across 50 acres. The campus has everything a student needs, including Computer Resources, Library, Academic Block, Computer Centre, Hostel, Sports, and Medical Facilities.

Academic Infrastructure

• The library, named Sir Jehnagir Ghandy Library, has a collection of 69,966 Books, 28,670 eBooks, 17 newspapers, 90 Print Magazines & Journals, 37,785 eMagazines & eJournals, 16,810 Back Volumes of Print Journals, and 50 Electronic Resources.
• XLRI Jamshedpur also has computer centres housing computer labs with the latest servers (IBM, Sun Microsystems, HP and Acer), a dedicated helpdesk service for software and hardware support for users, a printing hub, a photocopy and scanning facility.
• Academic Block houses air-conditioned lecture halls, an examination hall, a computer centre, all connected to the campus-wide network.
• There are 12 state-of-the-art classrooms with multimedia support, amphitheatre-style seating for 70 students each, and facilities for recording and playback of lectures.

Sports Facilities

• Sporting facilities available for students include a grass football field, futsal, pool table, tennis court, basketball courts, and a beach-volleyball court of international standard.
• The SC Sarkar Gymnasium has state-of-the-art facilities for indoor badminton and equipment for workouts and exercises.
• Students have access to swimming pools, squash courts, and a synthetic athletics track - all in proximity to the campus - through affiliations with local sports authorities.

Hostels & Accommodation

• XLRI Hostel comprises 5 residences. With more than 400 Rooms in total, XLRI has separate residences for Men and Women.
• XLRI Hostel has rooms in Single Occupancy as well as Twin Sharing. Moreover, a Mess, Canteen, Gym, Common Recreation Room, and Open Areas for Students are available at XLRI Hostel Residence.
• XLRI Hostel fee for both male and female students is INR 90,000.

Medical Facilities:

• XLRI maintains an infirmary equipped with all basic amenities, including five beds to attend to students who may require special medical attention. Three doctors visit the institute, one in the morning and two in the evening.
• Medical Assistance is also available at the multidisciplinary Tata Main Hospital, which is just 3 km away from the campus.
