KKHSOU UG Admission 2026

KKHSOU Assam offers undergraduate programs through ODL mode, which means open and distance learning. Students can study through distance and online modes at their own pace.

UG Courses and Duration

At the UG level, KKHSOU offers BA, B.Com, B.Sc, BCA, BLIS and B.Ed through distance education mode.

• Duration: 3 Years
• Special Case:
• BLIS - 1 Year
• B.Ed - 2 Year, and B.Ed needs an entrance qualification
• Admission Basis: Merit in 10+2 marks for UG programs

UG Admission Process

• Admission Duration: Admissions are held twice a year, in the January Session and the July Session.
• Mode of Application: Students apply only through the university website @https://kkhsou.ac.in/web/
• Admission Process: Applicants fill out the online form, upload documents and pay the application fee online.

UG Eligibility and Selection

• Merit-Based Admission: Most UG courses use marks from the qualifying examination for selection.
• Entrance-Based Admission: B.Ed applicants must qualify for the KKHSOU Entrance Exam, then complete counselling and document verification as per merit.

After form submission and document checking, selected students confirm admission by paying the course fee. Students may choose the January or July admission cycle as per convenience, and this option applies to most UG courses.

KKHSOU PG Admission 2026

KKHSOU also offers postgraduate study options in MA, M.Sc, M.Com, MCA, MLIS and MBA. Admission to most PG programs is based on marks scored in graduation.

PG Admission Process

PG applicants apply online through the university website, upload the required documents and pay the application fee online. Selection for most PG courses is done on merit, using the qualifying graduation marks.

Entrance-Based PG Admission

For MA Yoga, students must qualify for the KKHSOU Entrance Exam. Shortlisted students then complete counselling and document verification as part of the admission process.

KKHSOU PhD Admission 2026

KKHSOU offers PhD admission through national-level eligibility or the university entrance route. Applicants with UGC NET, UGC JRF or UGC SET can be considered, while others may appear for the KKHSOU PhD Entrance Exam, also called PRET.

PhD Selection Criteria

For PhD and M.Phil admission, the university shortlists eligible students and then conducts a personal interview. Final admission depends on the qualifying route, shortlisting and interview performance.

KKHSOU conducts entrance tests for B.Ed., MA Yoga and PhD to select students on merit.

  • For B.Ed, admission is through the KKHSOU B.Ed Entrance Exam. For PhD, admission is through UGC NET/JRF/SET or the KKHSOU PhD Entrance Exam, PRET.

  • B.Ed. - General Knowledge, Teaching Aptitude, Reasoning, Subject Knowledge
  • Ph.D. - Research Methodology & topics related to the subject area
• Result & Admission: Results are published on @https://www.kkhsou.ac.in. Shortlisted students attend counselling and document verification for admission.

KKHSOU Diploma and Certificate Admission 2026

KKHSOU offers diploma and certificate courses in areas such as journalism, computer application, environmental studies and rural development. These courses are meant to build professional skills and improve employability.

Diploma and Certificate Selection

• Admission Basis: Merit in the qualifying examination is used for most diploma and certificate courses.
• Admission Cycle: Most UG, PG, diploma and certificate courses follow the January and July admission cycles.
• Application Mode: Students submit the form, documents and fee online through the university portal.

Professional courses such as B.Ed. and PhD have separate notifications and calendars, but they generally follow an annual cycle.
