As this college has a good reputation and an affordable fee structure and is good in academic line. This college has a high record especially for the major of political science and I have a clear vision that I wil be choosing this as my major . So this is the reason why I choose this college. According to my knowledge there is no placements or job opportunities being provided for the students in the college. There is also rarely any career guidance seminars being held in the college that could help the students for their future.

It was the first college I applied for in graduation. The political department of the college is good and it's faculty is really outstanding for the students. Group discussions with the professors are very friendly.

For admission Firstly, we have to apply and after the approval the clg will give u the merit list and through that the addmission process is done . The cut off marks is 70 above. And the college is autonomous and you can also apply for under-graduate as well as post- graduation.

Our college is neat and clean , but our washroom are little dirty... But the environment is very positive and teachers are also friendly as well as strict . Our college focus on the studies strictly.

Arya vidyapeeth college has a dedicated training , development and placement cell that provides career guidance and organizes placement drives. However, the placement rate is really low, with only 125 UG students placed in recent years, out of 652 graduates.

Some internship are available in our college as in our department I have taken a side subject (Gardening) the internships and practices made within us to get side income during our study with no problem within us

I applied for two college in guwahati that are Arya Vidyapeeth College(Autonomous) and B. Boruah college but unfortunately my name was not published in the merit list of B.Boruah college so I chose Arya Vidyapeeth instead. The cutoffs of the Arya Vidyapeeth College is good. It might be hard for admission into science compared to arts or commerce because the cutoff is really good. There are many good and experienced teachers in the college that are friendly and helpful except for a few that are comparatively very strict and may not allow entry into the class incase you are late. The infrastructure is good with latest good equipments. The department toilets are clean but the common toilet is a little bit dirty. Other than that everything is good. There are also drinking water facilities available in college campus.

There are not much placement directly but the experience we gain can take us to many job opportunities The main thing in the placement is about luck the more we score the higher the chances the more u can study the more job u get . When applied in government job the personality of the college reflects

I choose this college i.e Department of Botany (Hons) because the department ensuring a strong theoretical foundations along with the practical experience. The course prepares well for studies as the results is always good which will make graduates well qualified for jobs. Some sections of the course should be updated to meet the latest technology, more guests lectures and internships should be provided to the students. As a student of Arya Vidyapeeth College, it is very difficult to take admission as the cut-off s are very high. Due to high popularity, the college campus is very crowded, which sometimes leads to overcrowding. The admission process is based on the merit list, the minimum eligibility criteria is 12th passed with minimum 50%.
