Eligibility Criteria For Appearing In The Entrance Test

The candidates must fulfil the following criteria listed below:-

• Candidates seeking admission to LLM must have a graduate degree in Law with at least 50% marks in aggregate from Gauhati University or a recognized institution.
• For M.Ed admission, candidates must have obtained at least 50% marks or an equivalent grade in B.Ed, B. A B.Ed, B.El.Ed, or D.El Ed with an undergraduate degree.
• A relaxation of 5% marks is given to SC, ST, OBC, and MOBC candidates who are permanent residents of Assam.
• Eligibility criteria may be relaxed for candidates with exceptional academic or research backgrounds, as per university rules.
• Attending counselling does not guarantee admission; seat allocation is subject to availability.

After submitting the online application, candidates must print and keep the necessary documents, and those seeking reservations must also submit a printed copy to Room No. 14, University Classes, G.U.
