There are lots of fest that are conducted every session but one of the most important fest of our university is the Varsity week or the sports week Library is one of the best gift which we have got in our university There are also social groups active in our university which gives importance to social activities and lots of cultural activities which help in building a strong motivation of students

The main attraction of the UNIVERSITY is GU Varsity week and all the departments and hostels participate in the event wholeheartedly.many small fest happens by different departments and hostels.There are more than 20 hostel including boy's, girls, and research scholar.mess food is good and hostel fee is very low.

The college itself being inside Gauhati University gives access to huge access with lots of canteens and other eateries, playgrounds, and stadiums which are all well equipped. Various departments of the university conduct fest from time to time so students will never feel bored. Classrooms are well equipped as well with few classes having smartboards and projectors.

The institute provides a very good campus life. The campus is covered with greenery all over and it also have a very good infrastructure. There are also many events that occur at the college like hackdays, convocation,etc.

As a student in GU, I have experienced a very good campus life. The campus is very neat and clean and is covered with greenery all over. There are very events and convocations happening in the campus.

The infrastructure is pretty good with lot of classrooms. There is library where student can participate if they want to read various books for knowledge. Also the college organizes sports day, also some cultural programs too. Never heard of any social group in that college and related to that.

Life in G.U campus very enjoyable and very amazing the time i spend with the student from differents states and district is memorable.(G.U)has a very big campus including the playground,the library, the gym,a par etc and is surrounded by greenary which make the campus very peaceful to live.There are lots of activities taking like cricket,football matches and many more.

There college week in the month of february. There is a library,canteen, sports club and so many indoor stadium..there is 3 parks.one botanical garden...one biodiversity hub. And two swimming pool for the students

Yearly there is one fest as know as College fest is organized . It start with cultural program where student wear there own cultural dresses and show up their culture authenticity. And then Annual sport are performed in which cricket, football , basketball, badminton , kabaddi , kho kho are played and as an indoor games chess, ludo, carrom board, table tenis are played and it ends with Dj night and this fest is organized for overall 7 days and it is great time of the year. About library ; college has a big library with Assam history books to today development book. It has different section for different books. It has a large sitting area where student can read book and study . Whereas there is different area for reading newspaper too. College do have some social group and are politically active like ASU , and other political parties, Websites are run by college itself there is no such website runs by student. About sport college has huge space so there ia playground for every games.

The campus life is very affordable and good. There are many hostels for the students offering courses. The campus is full of greenary and biodiversity. It has a big library and a market place where the students but their basic amenities.
