Remarks :
The admission process depends on the percentage we score in our class 12 board exam.As i belong from the minor community its lucky enough for me to get admission in the college with less cutoff.But now i heard that their is an entrance exam to qualify for taking admission in the university.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I took my degree in bachelor of arts in political science as i m very much fond and find it very interesting .The teachers are very friendly and their teaching is very clear as they teach us from the basic which make us easily understandable.Total there is 6 semester exam excluding the test and practical and the difficulty level depends on the understanding of the student.
Placement Experience :
As i completed my graduation from Arts i dont find any internship related to my subject and im not very sure about that.But for student who opted for m.b.a, b.c.a etc the interniship and placement is provided for them.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees for bachelor or arts is around 6500rs per year i dont remember much about other fees but its very affordable.The scholarship they provided me is very much upto the mark i spend my 4 to 5 months living without asking a penny from my parents.
Campus Life :
Life in G.U campus very enjoyable and very amazing the time i spend with the student from differents states and district is memorable.(G.U)has a very big campus including the playground,the library, the gym,a par etc and is surrounded by greenary which make the campus very peaceful to live.There are lots of activities taking like cricket,football matches and many more.
Hostel Facilities :
I rented a room near the university its not upto the mark but its very peaceful and less noise pollution which we can make use of our time in studying without any disturbance and the air is very fresh near the campus where i stayed.

Good-moderate faculty but maintenance of every other thing is very much not on time The authority doesn’t seem to be concerned about the students and delays every work and at the last moment you will be running around .

Dream Campus, Not-So-Dream Jobs

There are teachers under which u can work and later they can surely help u land a intership, happened with one of my friend. But as of now department dont directly provide u internship. I dont wanna say vague or old numbers about average or highest placement data, so wont comment on it but overall its not that great but there are exceptions, like there are some brilliant minds who lands an enormous off campus placement.(My 2 seniors who r out of india right now) Last year Bharat electronics BHEL came and took 8 seniors for 13lpa package, some banking companies and TCs comes too. My plans after my degree is to get a job in electronic domain while also focusing on my photography and editing Passion Check my work on insta sodaa.edits
My life in B.Borooah College as a science student
Placement Experience :
Placements At B. Borooah College for a BSc Forget it. There's no placement scene like you hear about. No companies come for recruitment drives. The so-called placement cell just puts up notices for government job ads or maybe a local pharmacy needing a helper. I've never seen a single big name visit campus to hire BSc grads. So there's no list of recruiters, no number of offers, and definitely no talk of high packages. Zero students get placed from here in that way. The plan after the degree is everything. For me, it's going for an MSc. For others, it's preparing for government exams, doing B.Ed., or applying to labs and hospitals directly. This college gives you the valid degree, the ticket to sit for other exams or apply further. It doesn't get you a job. It makes you eligible to go find one yourself. Your future is 100% in your own hands after you walk out.

There are 100% internship in Bsc agriculture are also good the average packages 3 to 4 LPA the highest package is 12 LPA percentage of students getting placements are about 70 - 80% the eligibility criteria depends upon the performance of the student on its practical work and its CGPA

The ratio of placement and job is very poor, this is a college of general degree course, so after passing B.Sc., B.Sc. one does not get a job directly, in future one has to do Masters degree, PhD.But data from the last three/four year revealed that students did get jobs in SBI and some other organization, but the percentage was very low.That is why most of the students after completing normal graduation take admission in courses like Masters and BEd, Deled.And my plan in future is to do Masters from IIT or IISER, after that I want to do PhD.

I forever had a dream of starting a business by myself as I come from a business background I also wanted to help my father in his work , I wanted to grow my father's business by just putting technical efforts so this is the reason I chooses commerce Teachers are of very friendly nature and helpful If you attend regular college you won't face any difficulties in exams
Life as a BTech Student at IIT guwahati
Placement Experience :
there is a CPI criteria of around 6 to sit for placements. The highest packages for bachelors can go up to 1.5cr. Companies in coding include Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Ola, Uber, finance companies like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and many more. Highest paying companies are AlphaGrep, Quadeye, JaneStreet but that is very competitive with only people with the best results and from CS getting in. Many people also receive preplacement offers after internships. There are also many companies that visit for product management roles like Ola, Meesho etc. The placement process for Design students is separate. There are also core companies like Texas instruments, that visit.

You must get more than 7 CGPA to sit in the placement. TCS, L&T, Jacobs etc and the highest package is around 21 LPA around 15% are placed every year.Iwill be doing PHd in IIT after getting my degree.

I choose this course because I am interested in learning coding and I want to seek my future in this line. I am finding some difficulties in understanding the subjects and topics but I believe it is because I am new to this field and new to everything.
