Remarks :
The factor that made me to choose this college is its affordable for me and the for a person who is travelling from home to college. There are no written test for admission in this college it is merit based depends on your marks.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I picked this course because I Love technology thats the main reason behind it! There are less teacher for our course even they they try to help students at their best. There are two exam sessional and final each semester!
Internships Opportunities :
There are no internship or any thing called placement i don't know what to say about this but if you want admission in this college you have to find job by your own they will just hold degree in your hands.
Placement Experience :
This is the major drawback of my college it does not provide any placements so i can't answer to this question. If you want placements opt for another Institute not this this college will just give you degree.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The Yearly Fees In This College Is 12000 which us 6000 per semester. Yes, there are scholarship to for reservation quota(ST, SC, And OBC). As per my teacher I've asked it will be 6000 per semester. No Worried.
Campus Life :
The infrastructure is pretty good with lot of classrooms. There is library where student can participate if they want to read various books for knowledge. Also the college organizes sports day, also some cultural programs too. Never heard of any social group in that college and related to that.
Hostel Facilities :
No, I have not opted for hostel but according to my friends who have been their they said its decent and like other hostel which we get food is average and its decent. If any one want to stay they can only if they have stayed during their school times.

There are teachers under which u can work and later they can surely help u land a intership, happened with one of my friend. But as of now department dont directly provide u internship. I dont wanna say vague or old numbers about average or highest placement data, so wont comment on it but overall its not that great but there are exceptions, like there are some brilliant minds who lands an enormous off campus placement.(My 2 seniors who r out of india right now) Last year Bharat electronics BHEL came and took 8 seniors for 13lpa package, some banking companies and TCs comes too. My life in B.Borooah College as a science student
Placement Experience :
Placements At B. Borooah College for a BSc Forget it. There's no placement scene like you hear about. No companies come for recruitment drives. The so-called placement cell just puts up notices for government job ads or maybe a local pharmacy needing a helper. I've never seen a single big name visit campus to hire BSc grads. So there's no list of recruiters, no number of offers, and definitely no talk of high packages. Zero students get placed from here in that way. The plan after the degree is everything. For me, it's going for an MSc. For others, it's preparing for government exams, doing B.Ed., or applying to labs and hospitals directly. This college gives you the valid degree, the ticket to sit for other exams or apply further. It doesn't get you a job. It makes you eligible to go find one yourself. Your future is 100% in your own hands after you walk out.

There are 100% internship in Bsc agriculture are also good the average packages 3 to 4 LPA the highest package is 12 LPA percentage of students getting placements are about 70 - 80% the eligibility criteria depends upon the performance of the student on its practical work and its CGPA

The ratio of placement and job is very poor, this is a college of general degree course, so after passing B.Sc., B.Sc. one does not get a job directly, in future one has to do Masters degree, PhD.But data from the last three/four year revealed that students did get jobs in SBI and some other organization, but the percentage was very low.That is why most of the students after completing normal graduation take admission in courses like Masters and BEd, Deled.And my plan in future is to do Masters from IIT or IISER, after that I want to do PhD.

Life as a BTech Student at IIT guwahati
Placement Experience :
there is a CPI criteria of around 6 to sit for placements. The highest packages for bachelors can go up to 1.5cr. Companies in coding include Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Ola, Uber, finance companies like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and many more. Highest paying companies are AlphaGrep, Quadeye, JaneStreet but that is very competitive with only people with the best results and from CS getting in. Many people also receive preplacement offers after internships. There are also many companies that visit for product management roles like Ola, Meesho etc. The placement process for Design students is separate. There are also core companies like Texas instruments, that visit.
