Selection Criteria For MBA Admission 2025

The selection process of Gauhati University MBA admission involves:-

  • Entrance Test: A written test will be conducted by the university to screen candidates for the GDPI round. Candidates with a valid score of 75 percentile in MAT/CAT/XAT/CMAT or any other national-level MBA entrance exam can opt out of the university's entrance test.
  • Group Discussion & Personal Interview (GDPI): Candidates clearing the written test or having a 75 percentile in MAT/CAT/XAT/CMAT or any other national-level MBA entrance exam must appear for the GDPI round.
  • Final Selection: Based on performance in the written test/national-level MBA exam and the GDPI round.

To be eligible, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved category candidates). Students in the final semester of their Bachelor's degree can also apply.
