Goa University, North Goa is one of the country’s premier educational institutes which bagged 40th rank in The Week 2021 rankings. Goa University, North Goa is a UGC recognized university established in 1985. It is accredited with ‘A’ grade by NAAC and is a hub to more than 50 colleges of the state.
Admissions to general undergraduate courses such as BA, BSc, BCom, BCA, BBA etc are based on the candidate's merit in 10+2 or equivalent examinations whereas admissions to all PG courses are entrance based.
Goa University also offers scholarships to students such as Earn While You Learn, Research Studentship, Merit based Scholarship, Free Studentship etc. Candidates can also apply for other scholarships offered by the state government.
Goa University is spread over an area of 402 acres with state-of-the-art infrastructure such as faculty blocks, administrative building, library, sports facilities, student hostels, bank, post-office, staff quarters etc.
