What's New In GCET 2025?
GCET 2025 or Goa Common Entrance Test is an entrance exam conducted by DTE to offer admission to engineering, medical, and pharmacy courses in various colleges of Goa State. The entrance exam is conducted only for students belonging to the Goa state. Admission to various courses will now be based on the scores obtained in the JEE Main 2025/ NEET 2025 entrance exam. Candidates qualifying for the NEET 2025 will get admission to medical courses such as MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, and B.Sc Nursing courses. However, candidates qualifying for the JEE Main 2025 will be admitted to Engineering and pharmacy courses.
GCET 2025 examination will not be held, as admission to the engineering medical and pharmacy courses will be done based on the scores obtained in various national-level entrance examinations such as JEE Main, and NEET. Students can visit the official website of the respective conducting bodies to complete the application process.

GCET 2025 Elgibibility
Before applying for the GCET examination, candidates must check the GCET eligibility criteria. In general, candidates must have cleared 10+2 in the science stream or equivalent examination to be eligible to appear in the JEE Main 2025/ NEET 2025 examination. Students who are appearing in the 10+2 examination are also eligible to apply. The GCET 2025 course-wise eligibility criteria are mentioned in the table below.

GCET 2025 Application Form
Eligible candidates can fill out the GCET application form once the application is out. Students can follow the below steps to fill out the application form for GCET 2025.

GCET 2025 Admit Card
After completing the application process, aspirants will need to wait for the release of the admit card. Students can get their admit cards in person from the admission committee. Students must carry their admit cards on the day of the GCET exam.
- Students with incomplete application forms will not be issued GCET 2025 admit cards.
- Students must keep the admit card safe as the same cannot be reissued.
- Students are advised to carry at least one photo ID proof and all required documents.

GCET 2025 Exam Centers
GCET 2025 will be held at various examination centres in Goa. GCET 2025 Exam Pattern
Students must be aware of the exam pattern to help them prepare for the GCET exam. Students can check the GCET 2025 exam pattern below.
- There will be objective-type questions asked in the GCET exam.
- A total of 90 questions will be asked in JEE Main 2025 and a total of 200 questions will be asked in NEET 2025 entrance exam.
- Students will need to solve the questions within 3 hours for JEE Main 2025 and 3 hours and 20 minutes for NEET 2025.
- For each correct answer, 4 marks will be awarded and 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

GCET 2025 Counselling Process
To participate in the GCET 2025 counselling process, candidates must first fill out the GCET counselling application form 2025. Students can fill out the GCET 2025 counseling application form using details such as the Candidate’s Name, Registration number, GCET Number, Category of the Candidate, Gender of the Candidate, Contact Details of the Candidate, Academic Details, and Scores Obtained in the Entrance Exam.
