"Exploring DUK : My Journey and Experience"

What I Liked

College infrastructure and facility are very good.
The course curriculum and subjects that are taught are good.
If you are doing your Masters for research-oriented that Digital University Kerala is a best option.

What I didn’t like

Placements are not good, they are below average.
Not only is the food at colleges bad, but there are no decent hotels in the area around the university.
There is no political-related student union in the university. The elections conducted here are not in a democratic way.

Placement Experience:

* To attend the placement, the student should not have any supply paper (pass in every paper). * The placement is not good, only 50% are placed in different companies. * For the data science branch, the different companies that came to the college were CHUBB, Tata Elxsi, Bajaj, Ospyn, Ecesis, Federal Bank, etc * The highest package we got is 13 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 CTC. * There is a placement cell, which is not that active, but due to the pressure from the student side this year, some companies have come.

Remarks:

After my undergrad, I wanted to do a professional course that could lead me to an IT job. So I chose Data Analytics in my Masters, 's so i can get both an MSc degree and a professional course. When going through the internet the reviews related to Digital University Kerala were good. I took an entrance exam named DUET, to get admission to this college. The exam was not too tough and I secured 96th rank in the exam. At that time there were many seats available, but now I think numbers of seats has been reduced. The DUET exam syllabus is available on there website and prepared through that.

Digital University Kerala

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am studying MSc computer science with specialization in Data Analytics. I choose this course because of the unique syllabus and different teaching method. The faculties are well qualified and they don't teach in a traditional way.

Remarks:

There was an exam Digital University Aptitude Test (DUAT). There are other ways to get into the college that is through JAM and CUET. The cutoffs are decided by the university and it varies each year.

What I Liked

i like the infrastructure of the college
The syllabus of the course is very good.

What I didn’t like

campus is not that much wide, it has only one big building
should be more extra curricular activities

Placement Experience:

There are good placements and job opportunities in the campus. campus placements are offered by the university. Federal bank, Alliance, Chubb, Tata elxsi are some of the companies which visit college for recruitment

Remarks:

Kerala university of digital sciences and innovation technology conduct a online exam test called DUAT for admission. The cut off varies each year and decided by the university. Students who wrote CUET also can apply
