DOMS IIT Kanpur Admission 2026

Detailed and step wise admission process for PG and Ph.D courses are given below:

For PG Students

MBA Admission Process:

• Register and login at DOMS IIT Kanpur MBA admission portal.
• Shortlisting of applications based on CAT 2025 percentile.
• Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
• Getting shortlisted for final merit list upon qualifying GD/PI.

M.Tech Admission Process:

• Register and login on IIT Kanpur’s PG Admission Portal
• Upon satisfying the eligibility for the course, candidates get shortlisted
• Appear for Written Test
• Candidates who qualify the written test are shortlisted for personal interview
• Merit score is computed based on GATE score and performance in WT & PI.

The weightage system for GATE and Non-GATE candidates is given below:

Note: Candidates with B.Tech from IITs are exempted from GATE, their admission is based on their performance in personal interview and written test.

PGPEX-VLM Admission Process:

• Register at IIT Kanpur’s PGPEX-VLM admission portal.
• Fill the application form
• Upload signature and photograph.
• Pay the application fee, either through NEFT or Bank Transfer.
• Select examination center for written test.
• Check all details and submit your application.

Students are also required to send hard copy of filled application form, GMAT/GRE score, two recommendation letters and application fee receipt to the following address:
