Perfect University for Engineering student

What I Liked

Infrastructure of the University is best that's why i passed my course without feel bored
Campus life is best don't have to worry about friend you can enjoy alone

What I didn’t like

Fees structure of the University is quite high as compared to other university
They don't give you practical knowledge of the course

Placement Experience:

Mdu has high placement record for computer and IT branch but they doesn't have any placement for civil they will tell you that a company is coming for placing you but they all lie they provide only placement for those who is known to them Highest packege for computer branch is 10lpa and civil branch highest packege is 3lpa

Internships Opportunities:

No i didn't opted any internship but our university have many intership in which you can apply and earn decent stipend they also support you for internship but doesn't force you, you can apply only if you're unsure

All about UIET , MDU

Placement Experience:

Companies like infosys , tcs , airtel come for campus placement. One must have at least 60% overall in graduation with no active backlogs. Highest package offered was 8 lpa by Josh talks and avg. Package is 3 lpa offered by infosys.

Internships Opportunities:

I have applied for few internships but their interviews and assessments are yet to happen , also right now I'm preparing for the placements. I've applied in tcs , infosys , airtel , dixon technology and a few other companies

ALL ABOUT MDU

What I Liked

Campus Life here is good. The campus idls very huge.
Library is the best part I find in this college.

What I didn’t like

Safety issues. The campus in itself is I feel not safe
No centralised air conditioned classrooms

Placement Experience:

If you are expecting a good placement or internship after getting into this college then don't. The placement cell here is not such good here but it is improving day by day. I am planning to apply for off campus placements and internships.

Why or why not you should choose UIET, MDU

What I Liked

Infrastructure, location, affordability
Less study pressure, less workload, openness

What I didn’t like

academic satisfaction, placements, faculty qualification
missing clubs and events, poor student quality, lack of competitiveness

Placement Experience:

We haven't been told about it yet, the re is no such official data released, but companies do visit and students do get a job, obviously you can't expect anything great here but you will get ample amount of time study by yourself and upskill yourself, the average package must be around 6 lpa.

Internships Opportunities:

Again we haven't been provided with any data as such,, but i believe you get these opportunities once you reach 3rd or 4th year. Before that you have to depend on your hardwork for all these things. There are many students who have cracked internships stay connected to them.

Review Uiet,rohtak before admission

What I Liked

college infrastructure is good . there is lots of greeny and ro water
no smart boards or A.C in the classroom bench are broken

What I didn’t like

no smart boards in classrooms electric switches are broken.
computer in the labs not works properly

Placement Experience:

you have no active backlogs.and minimal 75 % attendance is required to sit in placement interviews few visited companies are wipro, airtel,deolite,relaxo highest package is 20 lacs and average is 3lac 40% of students is placed after degree I do masters from usa

Internships Opportunities:

no I have not opted a internship because I am in second year but as per as I know college doesn't provide and internships to student you have to find it yourself college provide you to small company job only

Review about uiet mdu rohtak

What I Liked

I like the nature and environment and greenary of university.
I like my department also. For my department there is a proper uniform . I like this thing of our department.

What I didn’t like

I don't like the the fee of our course inc. 10% every year .
And the campus life is good . Not very extraordinary.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is good teachers do a lot of hard work now it totally depends on students how perform and do their work. if you work hard you can achieve anything there are various platforms provided that e cwan use.

Internships Opportunities:

Many companies visit campus and offer students a good package. you can grab various opportunities and get a good package from the campus. It depends on you. you can take guidance from teachers and seniors.

My college UIET MDU

What I Liked

I like that our teachers and staff are very much supportive in nature.
I also like our campus infrastructure which is very very very good .

What I didn’t like

I dislike nothing in my college but ya of you ask then I would say somehow the mess food because as I told earlier it's not like very very good.
Secondly I dislike that if something is not good in hostel rooms then after complaining about that students will waiting for sometime for electrician or carpenter to come and repair it.

Placement Experience:

Placement in tier 3 colleges are not good as if now but ya in my college there is avg placement scenario means students get placed at the avg CTC of 5-6 lpa and highest is 10-15 lpa so it's good enough to Kickstart your career in a corporate world after that you gaon experience then switch companies for hike in the package.

Internships Opportunities:

As I am in the data analytics field so that's why there are not as much opportunities for this role by our college but ya for software engineering aspects there are a lot of opportunities provided by our college.

UIET MDU campus , hostel and faculty

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are very bad. Some few companies came to hire, like Wipro, and Accenture. They offer very small packages around 3-4 Lpa. So most of the students try off-campus internships and placements. The highest package from our college was 40LPA.

Internships Opportunities:

No internship opportunity is provided by the college. However, there is one opportunity which is an unpaid internship that provides collaboration with IBM. However, most of the students get off-campus internships.

UIET MDU - A college with good campus and facilities but lagging in placements

What I Liked

I liked the Hostel Experience, Extra- curricular Events
Sports Complex includes lot of facilities from Cricket Stadium to various Indoor Stadium.

What I didn’t like

Placements and internships are not up to the mark
Faculties focussing more on theory, they are more concerned about completion of the syllabus

Placement Experience:

Placements are not so good here. Although there were some good placements in 2022 from last year barely 4-5 tech companies came for the Campus Placement Drives. Most of the students got for off-campus placements.

Internships Opportunities:

I did two internships that too I got from LinkedIn. College didn't help me in getting any internships. And if in any case, they bring some companies for an internship, they offer unpaid internships. Training and Placement Cell of our college is slightly lazy.

MDU UIET B.Tech Review

What I Liked

Best built infrastructure, Best Library, Very large auditorium, good teachers ,
Best hostel life, good opportunities, best facilities for sports and physical, a good network of people,

What I didn’t like

Bad food, not so good placements, law hostel people very dominance
Tagore auditorium organizes events and programs just a day before UIET exams, again mess food you can't like

Placement Experience:

Placements are 4-6 lakh average package, highest has gone to 20 LPA, off-campus internships students got in Google and Microsoft, amazon etc. I don't know much about placements but no mass recruiters come, you have to know DSA to get on campus placeme nts and no backlogs. Connections will help you build with seniors and job professionals.

Internships Opportunities:

I got a lot of unpaid internships, and feels like soon will get a paid one, but I won't answer this question personally. Like there must be some privacy, I can't tell everything about my life. But I can tell about my friends of CSE branch, about a bunch of people easily got 8-10 thousand internships at end of 3rd year in web or android development, one hardworking one got 30000 Rs./ month internship, one high thinking one starting his startup and a lot of growth going on
