The 5-year BBA-MBA programme accepts IPMAT 2027 conducted by IIM Indore. The following schedule is tentative and follows the previous IPMAT cycle pattern.

The MBA (Global Management) has yearly tuition of INR 9,90,000. This is INR 3,50,000 above the standard MBA yearly tuition of INR 6,40,000, mainly because of the US dual-degree partnership. Among the MBA options, Family Business and Entrepreneurship has the lowest total fee at INR 11,88,000.

IMNU Admission Process

IMNU follows three steps for MBA admission. For General category shortlisting, the minimum CAT requirement is 81 percentile. The final score is prepared using CAT 60% + Personal Interview 20% + TDP 10% + Academics 10%. Candidates with relevant full-time work experience get 10 bonus points in addition to the composite score.

• Stage 1. CAT Shortlisting: General category candidates need at least 81 percentile. IMNU also considers Class X, Class XII, and pre-final graduation marks with the CAT score.
• Stage 2. TDP and Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates attend the Theme Development and Presentation round and then a Personal Interview at the Ahmedabad campus. The TDP round needs preparation beyond regular interview practice.
• Stage 3. Merit List: The final list is based on the composite score. Offers for the 2027-29 batch are expected in late February 2027.

The General MBA has 300 seats. Of these, 75 seats are for Gujarat domicile candidates and 45 seats fall under the NRI Sponsored category. NRI, OCI, PIO, and Foreign National applicants can apply with GMAT scores from July 2024 onward. IMNU does not offer a management quota. The application fee is INR 1,500 for General and Gujarat State categories and INR 4,500 for the NRI category.

For the 5-year BBA-MBA programme, Gujarat State category applicants get 70% weightage for Class 12 marks, while All India applicants get 20%. For All India applicants, the IPMAT score carries 50% weightage. The minimum Class 12 score is 60% for All India candidates and 90% for Gujarat State candidates.

IMNU Placements

IMNU completed the 2024-25 MBA placement season with 100% placement. The highest CTC stood at INR 70 LPA, while the average CTC was INR 11.10 LPA. The median CTC was INR 10.61 LPA. The top 50 students averaged INR 17.08 LPA, and the top 100 averaged INR 14.74 LPA. More than 85 recruiters joined the process.

Finance and BFSI were the main hiring areas for the 2024-25 batch. Recruiters in BFSI included Morgan Stanley, BNY Mellon, Arcesium, Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase, CRISIL, and Motilal Oswal. Marketing and operations roles came from ITC, Havells, Reliance, Adani Wilmar, Tata AIG, and Zydus Life. Consulting and IT recruiters included Deloitte, KPMG, Capgemini, Infosys, and Wipro. IMNU also has regular recruitment links with more than 300 companies.

IMNU Rankings

In NIRF Management 2025, IMNU is ranked 53rd. It was ranked 55th in 2024, so the 2025 rank shows an improvement. The institute has stayed among the top 55 management schools in NIRF for three straight years.

For academic quality checks, IMNU has NAAC A+ at the university level from 2022, SAQS accreditation valid till 2029, and NBA re-accreditation for its MBA programme. It is also an AACSB member institution.

IMNU Scholarships

IMNU gives scholarships of INR 1.5 crore every year under merit and merit-cum-means categories. These awards are based only on merit and are renewed each year. To continue the scholarship, students must have a CGPA of 7.0 or more and clear all papers in the first attempt.

IMNU Campus and Infrastructure

IMNU is located on the Nirma University campus at S.G. Highway, Ahmedabad. The campus covers 115 acres, has IGBC Gold certification, and is fully residential. Separate hostel facilities are available for male and female students.

The institute building is centrally air-conditioned. It has tiered classrooms, flat multimedia classrooms, a trading room for finance learning, a behaviour lab, a communication lab, an auditorium, a computer centre, an art gallery, faculty and administrative blocks, and a fully automated library. The campus also has conference rooms and guest rooms.

Students can use sports facilities such as a cricket ground, football ground, basketball court, table tennis, gymnasium, swimming pool, and yoga centre. Other campus facilities include a cafeteria, banks and ATMs, healthcare support, and bus transport to important points on the S.G. Highway corridor in Ahmedabad.

IMNU vs FORE School of Management vs KJ Somaiya Institute of Management

Students in the 80 to 88 CAT percentile range often compare IMNU with FORE School of Management, New Delhi and KJ Somaiya Institute of Management, Mumbai. All three institutes use CAT as a main admission route and belong to the same broad national tier of management education.

Among these three, IMNU has the lowest total programme fee at INR 13,32,000 for 2 years. FORE Delhi reports a higher average CTC of INR 16.8 LPA, supported by its NCR and BFSI recruiter base. KJ Somaiya Mumbai is considered for its city advantage and its wider list of accepted entrance tests. IMNU also has a Gujarat domicile quota of 75 seats, which the other two institutes do not offer, along with an IGBC Gold-certified residential campus in Ahmedabad.
