College perspective acc to a student

What I Liked

I like our campus garden alot it's very peaceful
Our college student community is also very nice

What I didn’t like

Some of our faculty is very rude they don't understand our issues

Placement Experience:

Recently in our college, some students got package of 7.5 lakhs around, and mostly students get package of 3 lakhs only, 3 to 7 lakhs. Lowest was around 2.5 lakhs Average package is 3 Lakhs in our college

Internships Opportunities:

Yet I haven't opted for any internship as I am focusing on my studies only right now. But in our group, some teacher provided us some links for internships. So yeah, I haven't opted for internships, so I don't know much about internships. But our college does provide internships for students, paid and unpaid both.

What I Liked

The campus is Big due to which lots of events happen in college itself.
It is surrounded with lust greenery and lots of trees in the campus.

What I didn’t like

Campus is big but not up to the mark . it can be improved.

Placement Experience:

Many companies like TCS, reliance, Accenture and many more come here with eligibility criteria of 8 or above CGPA, no backlogs and an impressive Profile of an engineering student including all the projects we have worked on. The placement here is nice with the highest package of 7 lakhs annually and the average is 3-5 lakhs which is pretty good for freshers.

Internships Opportunities:

No, I haven't availed myself of any internship yet as I am in TE now. But we have done certain unpaid internships wherein we got experience on how to develop our skills. They also gave us training regarding various topics in tech fields.

MY COLLEGE EXPERIENCE SO FAR.

What I Liked

I REALLY LOVE THE TEACHING SKILLS OF THE PROFESSORS , CAMPUS AS WELL IT HAS A DECENT INFRASTRUCTURE.
EVEN THE EVENTS HELD AT KC COLLEGE ARE OF GREAT FUN AND ENTERTAINMENT.

What I didn’t like

THERE IS NO SUCH THING THAT I DISLIKE ABOUT THIS COLLEGE.
BUT ONLY THE INFRASTUCTURE OF THE CANTEEN SHOULD BE IMPROVED .

Placement Experience:

A STUDENT HAS TO CLEAR ALL HIS EXAMS WITH A POINTER ABOVE 6.75 FOR HIS/HER PLACEMENT AVAILABILITY. VARIOUS COMPANIES LIKE TCS, ACCENTURE, INFOSYS AND MANY MORE VISIT HERE. LAST YEAR 100 PERCENT OF STUDENTS WERE PLACED. EVEN I'M PLANNING TO ACCEPT THE PLACEMENT THAT THIS COLLEGE WOULD OFFER ME FOR EXPERIENCE.

Internships Opportunities:

I HAVE OPTED FOR AICTE INTERNSHIP. FROM THE 7TH SEMESTER ONWARDS THE STUDENTS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR THE PLACEMENT AND THE TPO IS CONSTANTLY ACTIVE WITH THE STUDENTS. MULTIPLE PIECES OF TRAINING SOFT SKILLS, TECHNICAL SKILLS AND OTHER ASPECTS ARE ORGANISED.

Engineering can be fun

What I Liked

I like the campus life especially the clubs because you get to make memories, connect with new people , inhance communication skills.
Another thing is faculty as teachers are cooperative and not too strict.

What I didn’t like

The only thing that affects is the college placements.
The infrastructure of the college is average not too aesthetic.

Placement Experience:

Placements average range between 2 lpa to 10 lpa usually ending at 7 lpa. Stiped Internships are not provided. Most of the students plan for a master's after graduation or an MBA. The main thing is to develop skills and try off-campus placements.

Internships Opportunities:

Stipend or paid internships are not provided by the college, only online internships are available. There are many platforms through which you can get internships like Internshala, etc. If you have enough skills getting an internship is easy.

Informative and generic for our college

What I Liked

The Classes are good and clean with a good environment
The washrooms are also decent for regular use and no smell

What I didn’t like

The Canteen is bad and no options for food
The PCs are slow and old which make it difficult to work in college

Placement Experience:

Placements and job opportunities are little worse as compared to other colleges, which have more companies and more opportunities. The avg placement is also higher for other colleges as compared to this college.

Review for K C college

What I Liked

1) I like the availability of computer and air conditioning in labs
2) Each faculty is hard working and master in there subject, project co-ordinator Prof. Vedika Patil madam support us in development and documentation part.

What I didn’t like

1) I dislike unavailibility of good meals in canteen, and no air conditioners in classroom
2) Clean and repaired washroom are much needed over here

Placement Experience:

A minimum of 60 percent is required in all of the exams. No active backlogs are spared. In last year 22+ students were placed in different companies..... though this number was more in previous years. The highest package in the college is 8 lakh+ and the average salary is 2 lakh+ Nearly 30 % of students are placed each year. I am planning to the job offer and get placed

Internships Opportunities:

I joined and learned various skills through an internship provided by the college... as 1) future internship for cloud computing 2) CAD center for internship opportunities These internships were focused on cloud and included various assignments

In-depth Look: KC College of Engineering through my eyes

What I Liked

The college is very good with a very good infrastructure. I like the library very much.
The faculty in the college is very helpful and cooperative.

Placement Experience:

the eligibility criteria for placements is the person should be all clear which means it should have no KTs. Many recruiters visited the college. Recruiters such as Ugam Solutions, Vistara, Amazon, Arries, Code Array, etc.

Internships Opportunities:

I have not opted for any internships yet, but I am looking forward to applying for internships ahead in the future so that I can work on different projects and gain new experience. I have planned many projects to cover them in my second year of Engineering.

What I Liked

Cultural and sports events conducted by college
Close to station (10 min walk), easy to reach

What I didn’t like

Placements can be improved to an extent
More offline internships required for students

Placement Experience:

The college does have placements. I don't have much idea about the placements but according to the seniors, the average package ranges from 2LPA to 4-5LPA. There are many startups which are coming to our college to recruit.

Internships Opportunities:

The college provides internships by Eduskills. We need to choose a certain domain such as data science, cybersecurity, infra designing etc. The possibility of getting a proper offline internship through college is less. You need to find it by yourself. Virtual internships are provided but they do not provide students, with proper industry-level training and opportunities.
